BOB’S BAR Welcome to Bob’s Bar Our updated cocktail list is a luxury evolution of the Bob’s Bar cocktail offering. Aiming to build upon the rum-orientated, Caribbean and in particular Cuban personality of the experience at Bob’s Bar. The cocktails are still authentic in origin, but we now see some finer touches on the ingredients and the garnishing. With engaging elements and aesthetically exciting new serving vessels to interest existing guests and entices new ones. There is also exciting initiative with the house rum cask which is shipped in directly from Barbados, which will make up its own section. HANDCRAFTED COCKTAILS Weekend at Playa Ancon The finest arc of sand on Cuba’s south coast, Playa Ancon is a lush, picturesque and a Unesco World Heritage site. An ideal location for sunning, swimmimg and drinking. Mojito 26 A fresh, naturally sweetened premium mojito using high quality white rum, more flavorsome than the traditional Spanish style rums. It reveals an attractive nose with notes of white flowers. It is a powerful and balanced wine, rich in alcohol with a nice acidity on the finish. Bastianich Vigne Orsone Friulano, Friuli, Italy 2013 28 130 Medium bodied with ripe, luscious pear flavors carried by a refreshing mineral flavor and zesty mouthwatering acidity that mixed together create a perfect wine to enhance food. The Tocai Friulano grape is also characterized by a slight almond edge. Schlossgut Diel, Dorsheim Riesling QBA Germany 2013 110 Arresting fragrance. Lychee, melon, ripe apple fruit, limoncella and Minerals in fruity noise. A finish with a lingering fruit taste. Dona Paula Estate Malbec, Argentina 2013 23 110 Intense violet color. In the nose, aromas of black fruits, violets and spices. Mineral and graphite notes. Great balance and freshness in the mouth, with good concentration and medium structure. Soft tannins and persistent finish. Grant Burge, "Benchmark" Shiraz, Australia 2013 24 115 This full bodied wine is vibrant, purple in color with aromas of black pepper, spice and soft red cherry fruits, which all show on the palate. It has excellent mid palate Fruit structure along with suitable oak and savory spice. HUIA Pinot Noir, Marlborough, New Zealand 2012 34 160 The wine has great balance, length and structure with notes of spice, violets and dark cherry. The silky but firm grape tannins are accompanied by gentle vanilla pod flavor imparted by the French oak barriques. Ruby red in color with striking notes of violet, offering aromas of black cherries, plums, vanilla and licorice.
