• Efficient Targeting – different stations attract different listeners and this
station is listened to locally
• Reach people at relevant times & places – such as the school run,
heading out shopping, surfing the net, getting ready to go out on Friday
nights, and so on. Even on mobiles & the internet.
• One of lowest ad avoidance – radio has one of the lowest levels of ad
avoidance – people rarely switch stations to avoid an advert, although they
turn the page in a paper easily.
• Radio is intrusive – what other medium can you be subjected to in the
shower? Potential customers must stop and read a printed message unlike
radio.
• Radio drives response – radio has always been a strong “call to action”
medium, and this is even more true in a world where consumers access
brands via the internet.

KL.FM is always looking for new & exciting ways of getting out into the local area
with particular focus on creativity & uniqueness. We are the most listened to
commercial radio station in our area and strive to always be at the heart of the local
community.
Here at KL.FM we truly believe in helping the community with local appeals such as
the Toy Appeal & Easter Egg Appeal which last year helped an astounding amount of
children & elderly people.
You can count on KL.FM to be present at all the big events such as Sandringham
craft shows, The Carnivals, Leziate Dragon Boat Race and of course Festival Too!
The KL.FM Lightning Crew have been out and
about across West Norfolk including attending
local schools and meeting local legends like long
standing staff members!
To celebrate Halloween, the Vancouver Quarter
held a trick or treat event throughout the town
centre! KL.FM were there giving out sweets and
helping the event run smoothly! At the end of the
night we hosted a best costume competition with
vouchers from all the shops in the quarter.
We are always working closely with local business to find new and exciting ways to
creatively promote their brands.
We have teamed up with the Vancouver Quatre,
Kings Lynn to recycle your old mobile phones –
DON’T BIN IT BAG IT! This promotion has had an
amazing response. The money we raise will go to
a local charity decided by our listeners.
•Tom Probst – itsmymarket.com “As a fairly new business, marketing and advertising
was of up most importance to us. Using Radio has provided a great response and
played a huge part in the success of the company and directing traffic to the website. I
wouldn’t hesitate in recommending KL.FM to other businesses”.

• Peter Field – Swaffham Golf Club “We wanted to become one of the biggest and
best small golf shops in West Norfolk. There is no question of the impact KL.FM has
had on the customer drive through the door. When customers are asked where they
heard about the shop, 70% said they heard us on KL.FM. We’ve used them for over 10
years and they are consistent, thorough, flexible and make the effort others haven’t”.
• Liz Harrison – Youngsters World “We currently advertise on KL.FM. I was a little
sceptical at first, but our Account Manager has been excellent. We’ve got a new jingle
and the feed back has been amazing, we’ve had people come in who’ve said they
heard us on the radio and come to find us”!
• Neil Clark – Thurlow Nunn “We own 5 Vauxhall dealerships and have recently taken
on a Saab dealership. We find KL.FM a fantastic way of creating brand awareness and
highlighting short term offers such as product launches. We use KL.FM with our overall
marketing mix and in conjunction with other media types it brings great awareness. We
love the flexibility of radio, one change in the market conditions and with one call to
KL.FM our advertising is changed instantly. I’d highly recommend KL.FM to other
businesses; we started using it 7 years ago and have been using it continuously since”.
