Host 2014:
Moira Delia (30 October 1971, Malta) is a Maltese TV
Show host and actress that has been chosen to host
the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Malta.
This woman has already host some Maltese National
Finals and varios shows realted to the contest.
She has a large experience hosting TV Shows in local
channels, most of them related to music, and some
related to animals.
She loves Kickboxing, TV series and hanging out with
her friends, as well as being with her son Gianni, who
is a teenager.
Stage 2014:
A large 9 metre high 10 mm LED video
wall surface is set up in back of the stage,
a 28 metre wide stage and 508 square
metres of LED screens is what is planned
for this sensational Junior Contest to be
held in Malta on 15 November.
Scenic triangles fill up the stage over the
2 side catwalks. The panels will be
installed with a mechanism that will allow
them to rotate to create spectacular
effect.
Each 20mm LED screen is
surrounded by mirrors to intensify the
camera effects. The floor is also made
up of a 10mm LED.
The stage was presented during the Heads of Delegations meeting
held at PBS. “The design comes from the shape and the colours of
the 2014 JESC logo. It is made up of a series of triangles folded
over to form a giant origami in an űber-contemporary piece of
architecture with a focus on the stage to promote the complete
involvement of the audience in the presentation. It is the perfect
mix between the joyous world of children and the refined
atmosphere of contemporary architecture. It’s going to look really
classy” said John McCullagh, the Creative Director of the show.
The design also includes an intelligent design of the auditorium in
order to maximise the use of the space, with lighting on the side
sheds and a number of balconies to create a feeling of being
#together in the show.
800 kids from 16 different Maltese schools each supporting a different country, will fill
in the area in front of stage to create an international juvenile atmosphere.

Lyrics:
È cambiato tutto ora che ci sei
Tu così importante dentro i sogni miei...
E' così speciale stare insieme a te
Quasi non ci credo e non so perché...
Lo sai,non posso più aspettare...
Ti voglio bene, lo devo dire...
Io, non so fare a meno
Dei tuoi occhi dentro i miei
Del tuo cuore quando batte forte
Batte forte insieme al mio...
Tu, primo grande amore
Non ci lasceremo mai
Tu, il sorriso delle mie carezze
Tu che illumini per me...
La notte...
Perché non siamo già più grandi...?!
Fuori dai banchi di questa scuola...
You are my very first love
I will never let you go,
Perché c’è qualcosa che mi dice
Che mai più sarà così...
You are my very fisrt love
I will never let you go
Sei Tu il sorriso delle mie carezze
Tu il mio solo primo e grande

Lyrics:
I’v got a perfect plan,
Come with me and I’ll explain!
Be a kid for a day
An’ you’ll find out what I say!
Dođi, u naše carstvo, nije šala,
uđi, u kuću šarenu od murala
da te podsjetim šta je igra,
jer ne uči se to iz knjiga...
Ma dosta je bilo briga!
Hajde, uzmimo se za ruke jednostavno.
Znaš, jer nije to ni bilo tako davno.
Imali ste naše godine,
niste znali tad za razlike.
To djeci važno nije!
Ja imam savršen plan,
pođi samnom i reći ću ti šta!
Budi dijete na jedan dan,
i otkrićeš tajne koje znam!
Ja imam savršen plan,
pođi samnom i reći ću ti šta!
Budi dijete na jedan dan,
i otkrićeš tajne koje znam!
Ja imam savršen plan,
jer svjetu nedostaju sitnice!
Budi dijete na jedan dan,
i osmjeh vratićeš na lice!!!
Ja imam savršen plan,
jer svjetu nedostaju sitnice!
Budi dijete na jedan dan,
i osmjeh vratićeš na lice!!!
Come on everyone,
I'v got a perfect plan
And I wanna say
Be a kid for a daaaaaaay!

Federica Falzon is the little girl from Malta with the big voice. Her career has included performing at live

talent show on Italian national TV. Federica is still only 11 years old.
Her next big step is competing in the final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, taking place in her home
country on 15 November 2014.
Federica is a mezzo-soprano with an incredible depth. She was first noticed when her grandfather took her
to karaoke. This lead to singing lessons and enrolling at “La Voix Academy”. She began to excel in local
competitions.
In February 2013, Federica was given the opportunity to represent Malta in the Sanremo Doc, an international
competition held in Italy. She triumphed with her rendition of “La Voix” by Malena Ernman, Sweden’s entry
in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. Federica has also covered some other Eurovision entries like "It's my
Life" (Romania 2013) and "Cvet Z Juga - Flower of the South" (Slovenia 2007).
Federica became much in demand in Malta but nothing would prepare her for the opportunity of a lifetime,
a chance enter “Ti Lascio Una Canzone”, a show watched by millions on RAI Uno in Italy and neighbouring

Federica was put together with Vincenzo Carni as the producers thought that they were a perfect fit. They

Lyrics:
Nothing burns like the cold
But I feel warmth deep down in my soul
Look at me
Here I stand
Take my hand
(Chorus)
Together we can shine
Like diamonds in the sky
No dream is out of reach
If you just believe
Find our course
Through the darkest storm
Find your light, and you'll know
The right path to take you home
Look at me
Here I stand
Take my hand
(Chorus)
Together we can shine
Like diamonds in the sky
No dream is out of reach
If you just believe
Find our course
Through the darkest storm
(Bridge)

Together we can shine
Like diamonds in the sky
No dream is out of reach
If you just believe
Find our course
Through the darkest storm… and you’ll be home.

Biography:
Julia Van Bergen was born on September 17, 1999 in Zeewolde (The Netherlands). She bursts into the musical
panorama uploading covers of her favourite songs to Youtube and she later decides taking part at Junior
Songfestival 2014 to learn from professionals and meet new friends.
Julia plays the piano and composes her own songs on it, her favourite singers are John Legend, Miss Montreal
and Douwe Bob, she also loves Sam Smith and Cody Simpson's songs. Among her favourite TV movies are
"The Mentalist" and "Castle" and her favourite food is Wraps, Sushi, Tapas and bacon with potatoes and

uploads covers to Youtube.
One night, Julia sat alone in her bedroom behind her piano, thinking about that cute boy from her school.
He was nice to her, but he never approached her. This made her very uncertain, while she thought he was
interested in her, but at the same time he never took initiative which made her very insecure. Suddenly, the
inspiration for a song came up. Julia started playing the piano, and translated her feelings into song lyrics.
She called the song ‘Around’ and, with no stage or any serious performing experience at all, she decided to
sign up for the Junior Song Contest in The Netherlands.
Julia submitted a very different version of "Around" composed by herself to Junior Songfestival 2014 (first
audition, live audition, final audition); after being selected, her song is revamped by the Rocketeers'
producers.
On September 27, Julia becomes the winner of the 12th edition of Junior Songestival. She got 12 points from
both, juries and audience.

Ne mogu da sakrijem, svako zna
kako gledam te ja u snovima
Pitam se, vidiš li da si ti
svet u mojim očima.
Dugo, tajnu čuvam ja
i borim se s' njom
negde, među zvezdama
u srcu si mom
Da li si ti
dečak iz mog sna
il' samo sanjarim ja ?
Ne mogu da sakrijem, svako zna

Pitam se, vidiš li da si ti

Lyrics:
Kan man skratta utan att va’ glad
älska och hata varannan dag
Tusen frågor men inga svar
Ge tillbaka nåt man fått

Lyrics:
You'll never know how it feels inside
So many reasons why
I've been feeling down and complicated
As I look inside my head
V očeh gori moj in tvoj sijaj
Če to si dovoliš
Prvi se koraki težki zdijo
A nočem, da zbežiš
And I can see the light, your light
It's shining on me
And I'm ready to be an angel oh your angel
I'm looking for you and I know I can see the light
Uuuuu in your eyes
Haaaa...
V očeh gori moj in tvoj sijaj
Če to si dovoliš
Prvi se koraki težki zdijo
A nočem, da zbežiš
In vedi, da sem
Zate tukaj zdaj
Ker skupaj je lahko
Ko hudo je, roko mi svojo daj
Da stisnem te močno
Nisi sam!
Zato sva tu in zdaj
Da kdaj, polepšava dan
Za ljudi, ki ne znajo k sanjam
In poklanjam ti ta svoj nasmeh
Veš, nikoli res nisi sam
Nisi sam!
Zato sva tu in zdaj

Lyrics:
You’re breaking my heart
You don’t understand
You’re breaking my heart
non ti ho mai detto e tengo dentro me
You’re breaking my heart, You don’t understand
You’re breaking my heart
You’re breaking my heart
You don’t understand
E forse non vuoi capirmi dai
You’re breaking my heart
E tu già lo sai
Che non vorrei lasciarti mai
…You’re breaking my heart …You’re breaking my heart
You’re breaking my heart, You don’t understand
Non dirmi che ormai on sei con me
You’re breaking my heart
You’re breaking my heart
You don’t understand

Lyrics:
Your magic story… your story
You won’t be sorry
Zhyve vesna v odnii chudovii kraiins
A my vyrushaiem
Z namy nebo spivaie
Liuba ta yedyna
(nazavzhdy)
Liuba ta hostynna
(Oh yeah)
Liuba mov rodyna
(moia nazavzhdy)
Liuba… Ukraina
Our stars are shining
Life – so exciting
Pryide vesna i nas povoli zihriie
A my mriiu maiem
Ta maibutnie spivaie
Poperedu meta. Khto mriie, toi lita
Mahiia…
U tii zemli krasa, yedyni nebesa
Znaiu ya
Liuba ta yedyna
(nazavzhdy)
Liuba ta hostynna
(Oh yeah)
Liuba mov rodyna
(moia nazavzhdy)
Liuba… Ukraina
Zemlia moia!
