“Education is the Manifestation of Perfection Already in Man”....Swami Vivekanand
An educated person can do anything he
aspires. In education, two things
important for a student are learning and
thinking. Learning, however, is not
something that can be done by
someone else for you. It is not a
spectator's sport and no one else can do
it for you. Learning is like breathing, you
will have to do it on your own. The most
important of all learning is to learn,
“how to learn”. Likewise, thinking is not something that you rely on anyone
else to do it for you. Learning gives power of thinking. Thinking enhances
knowledge, it makes one wise and is the key to success. You are master of
your mind and are as capable as anyone else! You are competent to
accomplish academically what you decide to accomplish. Do not let anyone
convince you otherwise and do not handover your remote control to others.
Remember, three enemies of you, me and ours are Apathy, Ignorance and
Indifference. Delete these words from your dictionary, and your life to
attain peace, prosperity, happiness and success.
My best wishes to all ,strive hard for attaining perfection and have a bright
future.
Prof. F.C. Garg

pride and never quit,
You'll be a winner. The price of victory is high but
so are the rewards”.......... Paul Bryant

it's the duty of every citizen to look into this matters and towards
its preservation.
We also take this great opportunity to wish “Happy World

3-D mini Brain was created for Biotechnological Experiments by Ms. Diana Hoffman Kim,
Assoc. Prof. of Molecular Pharmacology and her colleagues at Brown University. The “minibrains” has diameter of about a third of millimeter. They are made by isolation and
concentration of the desired cells and then adding them like seeds to a culture in a spherical
mold. It is an inexpensive method and takes about 2 to 3 weeks for the cells to grow. A small
single sample of living tissue from a single rodent can make thousand s of these brain balls
for about 25 cents each.
These “mini-brains” are extensive test-beds for neuroscience research and serves as in vitro model that will reduce animal use. These can be used in testing for treatment of
Parkinson's disease and will also be useful to study how adult neural stem cell develops.
:The Inter House Chess
Competition (Girls &Boys) was
held on 18-19 September 2015. A
total of 32 students participated in
the event with full enthusiasm.

William Arthur Ward quoted “The mediocre teacher tells, the good teacher
explains, the superior teacher demonstrates but the great teacher inspires.”
Teacher's day is celebrated every year in esteem memory of our beloved
President Late Dr. S. Radha Krishnan who was an exemplary teacher. This day
was celebrated with great hustle & bustle in all Departments with a deep
sense of gratitude to their teachers at SBS Institute.
All the responsibility of celebrating and managing the Teacher's day event
was taken by students. Events were brilliantly organized, dance programs
well choreographed and games well arranged with enthusiastic participation
by the teachers. Various titles were given to teachers, according to the
specialty of each teachers and titles were appreciate too.
All over, “the day” was worth remembering and was very well
celebrated.
