The VOICE FOR OUR COMMUNITY
Community Leader
★ Vocal participant in the West Covina Community for the past twenty-six
years, engaging in local matters and concerned about the lack of investment in new businesses in the community.
★ Engages with the members of the community on the issues they care
about most, such as rallying against the placement of a cell phone tower
too close to our children’s schools and our residential neighborhoods.
Visionary
★ Tony had a vision – To see a once desolate part of our city turn into a
bustling square where residents wanted to bring their friends and family. He
was told it couldn’t happen, but he had a plan and he saw it through. With
Tony’s guidance, he brought in businesses that the whole community can
enjoy such as Guppy Tea House, 85c Bakery, and numerous successful
businesses into this shopping square.
Active Volunteer
★ Tony and his family have been active in local organizations, supporting our local schools, churches and community groups.
★ Tony contributes to our high schools where he believes that art,
music, and athletic programs funding is critical for our children’s future.
★ Tony led the charge in creating a donation fund for a small business
owner’s family - the unfortunate victim of gun violence.
Successful Small Business Owner
★ Tony started two successful independent businesses that continue to
grow and add to our local economies.
★ Tony is also a job creator, employing dozens of men and women
from our community.
★ His smart approach to business will help him balance the budget at
City Hall.
