Risk Management
Labor costs account for one of the largest operating expenses in a business. Other costs can
include workers’ compensation insurance, recruiting fees, payroll processing and legal costs.
According to PriceWaterhouse Coopers, companies that manage payroll, workforce administration
and time and attendance in-house, spend an average of 18% more administering these functions
than organizations that outsource.*
*HR Affiliates
One subpar employee can throw an entire department into disarray. Outsourcing allows businesses
to convert fixed costs into variable costs, release capital for investment elsewhere, start new
projects quickly and avoid large expenditures in every stage of the business.
A bad hire could cost anywhere from $25,000 to $300,000, depending upon the position.

Our risk management program has resulted in the creation of
a risk-focused culture; standardized risk reporting; improved
focus and perspective on risk; efficient use of resources and
effective compliance coordination for our clients.
Our safety compliance
solutions are designed
to help employers
reduce workplace
injuries, mitigate legal
exposure, avoid fines
and stay abreast of
federal safety

Ensuring that staff reductions occur in a manner that
shows respect and care for those directly and indirectly
affected is critical to a business’ ability to move
forward. We can lessen the anxiety of employment
separation by helping departing employees find and
effectively compete for new jobs.
