Manitoba Moose Hunts
Lea Meadow has exclusive rights to a large
remote hunting area in Northern Manitoba.
Situated approximately 100 air miles north
of Thompson, this area is only accessible by
float plane. This area is pristine and virtually
untouched as far as hunting pressure. We take
a small number of hunters every fall and offer
both 1 on 1 and 2 on 1 hunts. This is one of the
best moose areas that Manitoba has to offer
and we cater to both rifle and archery hunters.
Wolf / Coyote
A big plus to hunting in Manitoba is the
ability to take a wolf or coyote on any open
big game tag. This does not fill the tag. Our
hunters have several opportunities each year
to take wolves or coyotes and some real
beauties have been taken.
Hunts are conducted from mid-September to
the beginning of October and calling is the
prime method of hunting. Boats are our main
form of transportation to and from the hunting
areas.
Sitting by the fire enjoying the Northern lights,
listening to the wolves call, fishing and hunting
in this remote and pristine part of Northern
Manitoba is a hunting experience that memories
are made of!

All Moose Hunts are a 7 day hunt
** The Provincial Record for a bow killed moose (210 5/8) is still from our area as well the
largest rifle and bow killed moose in Manitoba in two consecutive years were shot in
our area!
Spring and Fall Black Bear Hunts
Our Spring and Fall Black Bear hunts
consist of an area over 2000 square miles,
with most areas never being hunted!
Every year bears over 19” B & C and over
600 lbs. are harvested due to the vast

pressure! All bear hunts are 6-day hunts,
beginning on a Monday and ending on 6 - Day hunt
$3495.00 USD
the following Saturday.

How much better can bear hunting
get? Three consecutive years hunting in
your camp has led me to one beautiful
black bear, one gorgeous cinnamon
and one breathtaking chocolate that
looks almost red. As a bear hunter, I’ve
truly been blessed - thanks to you and
your hard work.
Agassiz has quickly become like a
Canadian home to me, and now holds
a special place in my heart. It’s one of
those places where no matter how
much I think about past experiences,
it’s impossible to accurately describe
how hunting bears with you makes me
feel. Simply put: Agassiz Outfitters is a
place that every bear hunter needs to
experience at least once: No words or
stories or photos could ever do justice.
I do have to be careful, though,
because you’ve set the bar incredibly
high, making it difficult for me to hunt
bears anywhere else. So, I suppose logic
would tell me that I simply need to
keep coming back!
Again, thank you for another fantastic
hunt; I don’t think I will ever be able
to repay my debt to you for showing
me such wonderful hospitality and topnotch bear hunting.
I look forward to continuing this
tradition. And now that I have
a daughter, I pray that she too
might someday get the privilege of
experiencing an Agassiz bear hunt.
