Hunts are conducted in far northwest Alaska,
north of the Arctic Circle. Our hunting areas
follow the migration route of the Western Arctic
Herd, which is currently the largest caribou herd in
Alaska with over 250,000+ animals at last count.

MOOSE HUNTS
Alaska Moose hunting is open to State Residents of
Alaska. Non-Resident Moose hunters must be DRAWN
to hunt in Game Management Unit (GMU) #23.
Drawing applications all must be submitted online.
Applications Open: Nov 1 – Dec 15
Drawing results posted in February

ARCTIC GRIZZLY BEAR

Hunts conducted in the Kotzebue area are for "Arctic" grizzly. These hunts are conducted north of the Arctic Circle
in the fall season. The bears in this region have a wide color variation, with light blonde being the predominant
color. Bears in this area typically range from 6.5 to a little over 8 feet. These are spot and stalk, fair chase
hunts. Days will be spent glassing mountain sides for bear feeding on blueberries, roaming the tundra, feeding on
a recent moose or caribou carcass, or feeding on late run salmon in rivers. This is a great hunt to "combo" with
for Caribou!

Hunt Northwest Alaska for trophy moose. We have had 100% success on our moose hunts 2003 thru 2015. The
average bull harvested is 62 inches, with several bulls exceeding 65 inches each year. This is a spot and stalk fair
chase hunt, with calling being the primary method of locating moose. All hunting is done from a remote location
that is accesses only with a super cub airplane. Alaska’s largest Caribou herd and beautiful arctic grizzly bear also
available in this area. This is a great area to take a mixed bag of trophy class species, the grizzly population is
extremely high in this area – so we encourage you to consider the Combo Hunts!

Ten foot brown bears are taken each year by clients on these hunts, most brown bear taken will measure over a
true 9 feet and some over 11 foot! Hunting is done from a spike camp only accessed by a super cub with large
