he month of February was busy beginning with Catholic Schools
Week, Open house, the start of Lent (A sh W ednesday service in
the photo above) and many sporting end of season tournaments
that took place for basketball, gymnastics and wrestling. Students have
trained hard all year and have been rewarded for their efforts.
Congratulations to all our athletes on their successes.
With Spring Break and Easter on the horizon, we wish all families a safe
time away from school and continued peace throughout Lent.
“Whenever you pray, go in to your room and shut the door and pray to
your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will
reward you.”

VANCOUVER AQUARIUM
WORK EXPERIENCE—SPRING RECRUITMENT
The Vancouver Aquarium is now recruiting students for April-June in the Education
Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to enter a teaching role themselves,
and get some great hands-on experience in Wet Labs and classrooms. The Aquarium is
launching some new programs, some of which require Bilingual Students. If accepted,
students will miss one school day per week.
See Ms. Paruzzolo for application. Deadline is Friday, March 4, 2016.
