Made ahead of time:
35” square of quilted fabric,
with contrasting binding. Inez
says you can make your own
“quilt” – be sure to use a light
weight batting; or just buy a
piece of pre-quilted fabric. Either way, have the binding sewn
on before the bee.
100” of strapping – this can be
either webbing in a coordinating color or a tri-fold of matching or coordinating fabric with
batting inside.
Charity Quilts –
Darlene reported that
another baby quilt has
been delivered. Calli
Monasmith Tilla just had
twins. Quilts will be sent.
Kathy C. reported that a
total of 21 quilts were sent
to Oso. A group there has
set a goal of 75 quilts for
national guard workers.
Folks can still send to that
project if they wish. One
can search Facebook for
“Layers of Hope” to see
quilts that were donated
Wow—you have been
busy!
Great job, everyone!
