WASHINGTON – U.S. Senators Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., and Chris Coons, D-Del.,
co-chairs of the Senate Chicken Caucus, today applauded the news that the first
U.S. poultry in more than 15 years has arrived in South Africa. Today’s news is the
outcome of a June 2015 agreement reached between the United States and South
Africa that required South Africa to eliminate longstanding barriers to U.S. poultry
imports. Isakson and Coons are the co-chairs of the Senate Chicken Caucus, of which
Sen. David Perdue, R-Ga., and Senator Carper are also members. Both Georgia and
Delaware have large poultry industries and are major exporters of poultry. The poultry
industry annually contributes over $15.1 billion to the Georgia economy. Delaware’s
poultry industry supports more than 14,000 jobs and contributes more than $4.6 billion
to the state’s economy, according to the National Chicken Council.

I DISLIKE TRUMP:
WE MUST SUPPORT HIM!
I have not liked Donald Trump for decades. I long felt he was a
bully of women, an egomaniacal, spoiled rich kid, prima donna,
chameleon who changed his true colors with the environment that
surrounded him and is the least Presidential acting candidate I
have ever seen. He is my age, and was a student-athlete in high
school yet got several deferments for foot problems to avoid the
draft, while I was earning a Green Beret and fighting in Vietnam
voluntarily. So what? He is running for President and doing a
damned good job of it, and making a fool out of the republican
and democratic establishments while doing so. A disproportionate
percentage of my fellow republicans have made their feelings
clearly known. They are sick of political correctness and the limpwristed leadership in Washington, DC and want to rebel. Don’t
blame them at all. Donald Trump is the rebel leader, hands down,
and I am ready to follow him.
We republicans helped put Barack Obama into office twice and
did the same with Bill Clinton. If we help put Hillary Clinton into
office by in-fighting, staying home from the polls, or other temper
tantrums because our candidate did not get nominated, we have
only ourselves to blame. Hillary Clinton has failed miserably at
every major undertaking she has attempted from her marriage to
being Secretary of State. In 1969, as a young US Army Special
Forces captain, I was the Assistant S2 or Intelligence Officer of the
Third Special Forces Group at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. I was in
charge of all the Top Secret Area Studies for every country in the
continent of Africa. Behind my desk was a Top Secret vault holding
all the Area Studies and right next to my desk was another desk
with an armed guard, a Green Beret sergeant, wearing a loaded
.45 automatic who stayed by my side throughout the workday,
or watched over the vault if I left without carrying documents. If I
carried a classified document, the armed guard escorted me, and
the recipient, even the commanding general of Special Forces, had
to personally sign for the document before I handed it to him. Even
if a person had a Top Secret security clearance they could not just
sign one out from me unless they also had a “Need-To-Know.” It
was made abundantly clear to me how classified documents were
to be handled. If I had let just one Top Secret document out without
a yellow cover folder stating it was Top Secret with warnings and
automatic downgrading instructions, or the same for a red Secret
cover folder for each Secret document, and it was released from
the vault without a person physically signing for it after proving
they were on a Need-To-Know basis; then quite simply, I would
still be serving a sentence in Fort Leavenworth Penitentiary to
this day. Hillary Clinton, who was Secretary of State, mishandled
and exposed dozens of Top Secret and Secret documents and
instead of going to prison is the leading democratic candidate, and
presumptive nominee for President. Go figure.
Donald Trump is not a politician, nor is he really a democrat or
republican. He is a businessman who looks at business solutions
to problems, and he is a good salesman. He will get along with
congress and with world leaders, but he will not allow our nation
to be sneered at anymore either. He will delegate to experts in
fields he is not familiar with. He is indeed a patriot. I have no
doubt about that, and he does understand and treasures the free
enterprise system. He is about setting and achieving goals, but
like Harry Truman, Lyndon Johnson, and other politicians before
him he is crude at times, vulgar, and often miss-speaks. However,
he is currently making a mockery of the election process and
kicking butt and taking names while doing so. He will also do so as
commander-in-chief. He will rebuild our military and our reputation
worldwide as the power broker of the world, not to be messed
with, especially by jihadists. Another very positive, very telling thing
about Donald Trump are his grown children. My wife met one at a
business seminar and was very impressed. By all accounts each
SO81
of his children does not act like children of privilege and did not
get in trouble growing up. I have heard and read they are all very
successful, well-respected, and popular. That tells me a lot of good
about Trump the father, the man. One more thing about Donald
that makes him dangerous: Every other Presidential candidate,
democrat and republican, should come with sponsorship decals like
NASCAR racers showing which PACs and special interest groups
actually own them. Trump’s jumpsuit would be clean, except for a
giant gold TRUMP going down the side, as he certainly knows how
to promote. My wife is a very successful business owner, and like
she told me, “It is time we have a businessman running this country.
Maybe we will accomplish something worthwhile for a change.”
We, who call ourselves republicans, libertarians, patriots, or
Constitution-minded Independents MUST get totally behind
Donald Trump and give him our full, undivided support, all working
together as a team. The democrats want us to keep fighting among
ourselves. I want my country back, and this is how we can do that.
themselves a week later, he became convinced. We, who call
ourselves republicans, libertarians, patriots, or Constitution-minded
Independents MUST get totally behind Donald Trump and give
him our full, undivided support, all working together as a team. The
democrats want us to keep fighting among ourselves. I want my
country back, and this is how we can do that.
Thank You
–Don Bendell

Ambassador killed in Benghazi attack
considered leaving Libya in April
2011, emails reveal

May 5, 2011 message. “They will be not only be acknowledging
but also enhancing his power. They will in effect become liegemen
bowing before him, but not in any way they will resent or will
protest. They will serve as witnesses to the magnitude of what he
has done.”
Seventeen months before he was killed in the Sept. 11, 2012 attack Members of Senate and House committees who deal with
on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, Ambassador Chris
intelligence and military matters were later invited to view the

war widened.
The ambassador’s concerns are reflected in emails sent to thenSecretary of State Hillary Clinton’s inner circle. The emails were
released by the State Department Monday as part of the 14th and
final batch of messages from Clinton’s private server.
State Department spokesman John Kirby told reporters Monday
that one additional email between Clinton and Obama was withheld
from the final batch of messages, bringing the total number of such
messages to 19.
One email in particular, dated April 10, 2011, relays Stevens’
safety concerns to the State Department. It was sent by a State
Department official named Timmy Davis to several key Clinton
aides, including Jake Sullivan, now the top foreign policy adviser on
Clinton’s presidential campaign, and Huma Abedin.
Kirby also said that 52,000 pages of emails, not 55,000 as
previously stated, have been released to the public from Clinton’s
private server, which was kept in her bathroom in her Chappaqua,
N.Y. home. Kirby said 55,000 was a “colloquial” term used
previously by the State Department and the real number of pages is
between 52 or 53,000.
The message, with the subject line “Stevens update” reads, in
part, “The situation in Ajdabiyah [a town approximately 90 miles
southeast of Benghazi] has worsened to the point where Stevens
is considering departure from Benghazi. The envoy’s delegation is
currently doing a phased checkout (paying the hotel bills, moving
some comms to the boat, etc) ... He will wait 2-3 more hours, then
revisit the decision on departure.”

The message from Davis indicates there is heavy sniper fire
and shelling in Ajdabiyah. According to the message, Stevens is
apparently trying to see if “this is an irreversible situation. Departure
would send a significant political signal” that the U.S. had lost
confidence in Libya’s Transitional National Council, which oversaw
the rebel forces fighting to overthrow dictator Muammar Qaddafi.
Davis’ message was forwarded to Clinton by Abedin. The secretary
of state’s response is not known.
The latest email release also indicates that State Department
official Wendy Sherman sent at least one classified email to Clinton
in August 2012. The email, which Sherman sent with the attached
message, “I don’t usually forward emails such as below”, dealt with
Egyptian troop movements.
Sherman, who left the State Department this past October, led
the U.S. delegation at last summer’s nuclear talks with Iran. Fox
News previously reported that Sherman appears in a 2013 State
Department video saying that in the interest of speed, Clinton
and her aides shared information that “would never be on an
unclassified system” normally.

Another revelation in the latest email dump is that Clinton con fidant
Sidney Blumenthal urged Clinton to approve the showing of Usama
bin Laden’s death photos to members of Congress after the Al
Qaeda leader was killed by Navy SEALs in May 2011.
In an email to Clinton, Blumenthal argued that the photos would
provide a boost to President Obama’s political capital ahead of that
summer’s lengthy debt ceiling fight with the Republican-controlled
House of Representatives.
“Having the members file through [a special secure room] will

Major donor calls for ouster of Wounded
Warrior Project executive
A major donor to the Wounded Warrior Project veterans’ charity called
Thursday for the nonprofit’s CEO to resign in light of allegations of
lavish spending on staff meetings, according to a CBS News report. Fred
and Dianne Kane, the parents of two Iraq War veterans, have donated
$325,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project since 2009 through their
personal charity, Tee-off for a Cause.
Slightly more than half of the Kanes’ donations directly benefitted
veterans, according to CBS News.
But after recent tax forms reflected questionable spending by the veterans’
charity on staff expenditures, including $26 million on conferences and
meetings at luxury hotels, Fred Kane called for CEO Steven Nardizzi to be
fired.
“Hearing that there was this waste of money, donor dollars that should
have been going to servicemen and women that were injured, and that it
was spent on [Wounded Warrior Project staff] having a good time—it’s a
real disappointment,” Dianne Kane told CBS News.
The Kanes also initiated an online petition calling for a public audit of the
Wounded Warrior Project in addition to canceling the next golf tournament
Tee-off for a Cause was to hold to benefit the Project.
In January, Charity Navigator, a group that oversees nonprofit
organizations, placed Wounded Warrior Project on its watch list, Fox
News reported, citing a separate CBS report.
Army Staff Sergeant Erick Millette, who returned from Iraq in 2006 with a
bronze star and a purple heart, told CBS News at the time that he admired
the charity’s work and took a job with the group in 2014 but quit after two
years.
Kitchen Sink Rice Bake
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 medium onion, diced
1 large carrot, peeled & diced
1 ear yellow sweet corn
2 cups steamed broccoli florets
4 oz. deli ham, diced
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
salt & pepper, to taste
2 pinches ground thyme
1 cup long grain white rice
2 cups water
1 1/2 cups grated medium cheddar cheese
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease baking dish and set
aside. {Use a 9×9 square dish or one that is slightly larger.}
Place large skillet over medium heat and melt butter. Saute
onions, carrot, corn, and ham 5-7 minutes or until veggies start
to soften. Stir in broccoli and cream of chicken soup. Once soup
starts to melt into the veggies, add in seasonings, rice and water.
Stir to incorporate and remove any lumps. Melt cheese into
mixture and pour entire contents of skillet into prepared baking
dish. Bake 40 minutes or until rice is completely cooked and no
liquid remains. Serve hot.

“Their mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors, but what the
public doesn’t see is how they spend their money,” he said.
Millette said he witnessed lavish spending on staff, with big “catered”
parties.
Also in the previous interview, two former employees, who were so fearful
of retaliation they asked that CBS News not show their faces on camera,
said spending has skyrocketed since Nardizzi took over as CEO in 2009,
pointing to the 2014 annual meeting at a luxury resort in Colorado Springs.
“He rappelled down the side of a building at one of the all hands events.
He’s come in on a Segway, he’s come in on a horse,” one employee told
CBS News.
Fred Kaine, in the recent interview, questioned Nardizzi’s apparent public
absence while his organization has been under scrutiny.
“Where is this guy? You lead from the front—good or bad—you don’t
hide,” he said, “If no one is going to talk about this right now and it has to
be me, then it has to be me.”

Kane said he has cut charitable ties with the
Wounded Warrior Project, embarking on a new
charge to effect change at the organization.
