Georgia Heritage was pleased to donate $2,000 to The American Cancer Society following this year’s Relay For Life event

2015 College
Scholarship Winners
A graduate of St. Vincent’s Academy, Madison Loftin is the
winner of the $2,000 college scholarship. Madison, the
daughter of Natalie Loftin of Savannah, will be attending the
University of Notre Dame, where she will major in pre-med
with plans to become a doctor."

Kendra T. Lonon of Eden, Georgia, is the winner of the
$1,000 continuing education college scholarship. A graduate
of A.E. Beach High School, Kendra is currently enrolled in
Liberty University."

Penny was born in Manchester, England. She recently moved
from New York to Tybee Island with her husband and 21-year-old
son. Her husband is a Black Hawk pilot for the Army. Her son is a
Tybee Beach lifeguard. As a military spouse, Penny has lived in
Bahrain on the Persian Gulf and in the U.S. states of California,
Alabama and New York. Having held several jobs in the financial
industry, Penny worked for AmeriCU Credit Union in New York for
the past 8 years. She loves Savannah and was happy to trade the
snow for sand!

2015 Annual Meeting & 75th Anniversary
This year marks the 75th anniversary of our Credit Union. To commemorate this milestone, the 2015 Annual Meeting was held at
the Savannah Marriott Riverfront on May 2, followed by a band concert featuring The Fabulous Boomers Band at Rousakis
Plaza. Georgia Heritage FCU teamed up with the Savannah Waterfront Association to bring the 3-hour band concert to the
Seafood Fest, as a way of thanking the community for its support."
