Alpha’s Winter Semi Formal: Hey Alpha, this year’s winter semiformal is “Snow Ball”. Tickets are on sale from Wednesday,
November 26 – Friday, December 5. Ticket prices are $10 for
grades 9-12 and $9 for grade 8’s. You will get a dollar off if you
bring a non-perishable food item when you purchase your ticket. See
you all there!
Grad Council
Alpha Theatre Company presents: “Bite Size Theatre” – one night
only. Wednesday, December 3. Doors open at 6:30, show at 7:00
pm. Tickets sold online via Alpha’s website or at lunch in the foyer
from November 19 – December 3. Tickets are $6 or $5 per person
when you buy a group of 4 tickets.

Bake Sale: FPAC will be having a Movember bake sale in the lower foyer on November 24 and 25. Come out and
support us! We will also have a photo booth. Each polaroid will be $2 – hope to see you there.

Coats 4 Kids: The Offence is collecting winter wear as part of the Rotary Club’s annual “Coats 4 Kids” campaign.
We will be collecting gently used coats, jackets, mittens, touques, parkas, scarves etc. Come by the Career
Centre (Rm. 319). We will be collecting it all November. Ms. Borders

Wellness Fair. There are a variety of positions and times.

Burnaby Neighbourhood House: Looking for volunteers for gift wrapping this Christmas season at Metrotown.
Stewardship Volunteer: When you throw a party, you’re the kind of host that ensures everyone is taken care
of? Like to be part of a great team and is a great communicator who would like to strengthen the community’s
relationships? United way is looking for volunteers to help. Potential 50hours. Come to the Career Center.
Artspace Children’s Arts Center: Are you a mature and reliable youth looking for a fun volunteer opportunity to
gain valuable work experience? If you are a student you is interested in working with kids and teach about visual
and performing arts come to the Career Center.
BCIT Broadcast Work Experience Opportunity (Grade 11 and 12)! Any grade 11 or 12 students interested in
acquiring work experience in the field of broadcast, please come to the Career Centre ASAP, spots fill quickly so
drop in over the next day or so!
