Regional Validation Workshop for Respect Education
Teaching Strategy Resource Materials

1. In line with DepEd Region XIIs Strategic Priorities on ensuring a quality,
responsive and culturally sensitive basic education, the Regional
Validation Workshop for Respect Education teaching strategy resources
(Workshop Manual) is scheduled on June 9-10, 2015 at the RoadHaus
Hotel, Aparente St., Corner Block 0, Barangay Dadiangas Heights.
Respect Education is an educational project supported by the CordaidNetherlands Respect Education Foundation in partnership with Pasali
Foundation, the Mindanao Convergence of CSOs & NGOs and DepEd
Region XII.
2. The validation workshop aims to: a.) introduce Respect Education
framework and draft teaching strategy resources to DepEd Region XII
Internal stakeholders; b.) Quality assure and ensure the cultural
sensitivity of the draft teaching resources (Workshop Manual) including
Literacy and Numeracy manual; d.) solicit inputs from DepEd internal
stakeholders on the draft teaching strategy resources; and
d.)
generate support from DepEd internal stakeholders for the scale-up
implementation of Respect Education innovation that supports and
complements the K to12 Program implementation at the classroom level;
