■システム情報科学府のアドミッションポリシー■
- Admission Policy of the Graduate School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering 計算機や情報処理技術の高度化と普及によって. 情報科学は数学や物理学などに匹敵す
る科学方法論の基礎を与える基礎科学として. 極めて重要な学問分野となりつつある。ま
た， 情報科学のもたらす成果は一般社会生活へも深く浸透し,工業分野全般への情報処理
技術の適用はもちろんのこと. 社会・文化・経済にも大きな影響を与えている。一方， 長
い歴史と大きな産業分野を抱える電気電子工学は， 情報産業の母胎として常にその発展
に寄与しただけでなく. 極めて高機能化・複雑化・大規模化した電気電子システムを生み
出してきたが， 今後も情報科学と密接な連携のもとに発展して行くことが期待される。
そのような社会からの要望に応えるため. システム情報科学府は総合的で広い視野を持
ち. かつそれぞれの分野で深い専門的知識と研究開発能力を備えた次世代の研究者や技
術者を育成することを目指している。この趣旨に合った意欲ある学生を受け入れる。
Due to the development and increased popularity of computers and information processing
technology, information science has become an important academic discipline that provides a
fundamental scientific methodology comparable to mathematics and physics. Progress in
information science has benefited all aspects of our lives and brought about significant changes to
our society, culture, and economy, and information processing technology has been applied to the
entire industrial sector. Electrical and electronic engineering, which supports a variety of related
industries, has not only contributed to the development of the information industry, but has also
produced highly sophisticated and complex large-scale electrical and electronic systems through its
long history. Electrical and electronic engineering is expected to develop further in close
cooperation with information science. In order to respond to these social demands, the Graduate
School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering aims to train the next generation of
researchers and engineers who can provide comprehensive and broad perspectives with expertise
and the ability to implement research and development required in specific fields. The school
welcomes motivated students.

1. 出願資格
1. Qualifications for Application
(1) 学校教育法第83条に定める大学を卒業した者及び平成28年3月31日までに卒業見込みの者

or university defined in Article 83 of the School Education Act
(2) 学校教育法第104条第4項の規定により学士の学位を授与された者(大学評価・学位授与機構から学
士の学位を授与された者) 及び平成28年3月31日までに学士の学位を授与される見込みの者

Persons who have received, or are scheduled to receive by March 31, 2016, a bachelor’s
degree as stipulated in Article 104, Clause 4 of the School Education Act (namely those who
have been recognized as qualified to receive a bachelor’s degree by the National Institution for
Academic Degrees and University Evaluation)
(3) 外国において，学校教育における16年の課程を修了した者及び平成28年3月31日までに修了見込み
の者

education in foreign countries
(4) 外国の学校が行う通信教育における授業科目を我が国において履修することにより当該外国の学

years of school education implemented by a foreign country, including the completion of a
correspondence course program provided by a school of the country while living in Japan
(5) 我が国において外国の大学の課程(その修了者が当該外国の学校教育における16年の課程を修了し
たとされるものに限る。)を有するものとして当該外国の学校教育制度において位置付けられた教育
施設であって文部科学大臣が指定するものの当該課程を修了した者及び平成28年3月31日までに修
了見込みの者

Persons who have completed, or are scheduled to complete by March 31, 2016, an education
course provided by a Japanese educational institution that has been recognized by the school
education system of a foreign country as the country’s academic course and designated by the
Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology, provided that the
persons have received 16 years of the country’s school education

(6) 専修学校の専門課程(修業年限が4年以上であることその他の文部科学大臣が定める基準を満たす
ものに限る。)で文部科学大臣が別に指定するものを文部科学大臣が定める日以降に修了した者及び
平成28年3月31日までに修了見込みの者

course provided by a vocational school designated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports,
Science, and Technology (a four-year or longer course that fulfills the criteria established by the
Ministry) on the day specified by the Ministry or later

で入学時までに22歳に達するもの

Engineering, based on an individual screening of applicants’ qualifications for admission, as

をもって修得したものと認めた者

including the completion of a correspondence course program provided by a school of the
country while living in Japan, and are recognized by the Graduate School of Information
Science and Electrical Engineering as having received the required credits with excellent results
(12) 我が国において，外国の大学の課程(その修了者が当該外国の学校教育における15年の課程を修
了したとされるものに限る。)を有するものとして当該外国の学校教育制度において位置付けられた
教育施設であって、文部科学大臣が別に指定するものの当該課程を修了し,本学府において，所定の
単位を優れた成積をもって修得したものと認めた者

Persons who have completed an education course provided by a Japanese educational
institution that has been recognized by the school education system of a foreign country as the
country’s academic course and designated by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture,
Sports, Science, and Technology, by receiving the required number of credits with excellent
results, provided that the persons have received 15 years of the country’s school education

出願資格を有する者のうち，官公署,会社等の所属職員及び出願資格(2)及び(8)〜(12)により入学
を希望する者は，願書提出前に九州大学工学部等教務課教務係に相談すること。
Applicants who are employees of central or local governments or companies or those who have
been qualified by (2) or any of (8) to (12) of the Qualifications for Application shall consult the
Student Affairs Section, Student Affairs Division (Section 16) of Kyushu University, Graduate
School of Engineering, prior to submitting an application form.
※上記(8)〜(12)により出願する者は，事前に出願資格の審査を受けなければならない。

(l)TOEIC 公開テストまたは TOEFL-iBT，TOEFL-CBT，TOEFL-P BT のいずれかを事前に受験して
おくこと。
(1) Applicants should take the TOEIC (Secure Program), TOEFL-iBT, TOEFL-CBT, or
TOEFL-PBT in advance.
・スコア証明書とは，実施団体が発行し本人に直接郵送された TOEIC の Official Score Certificate
または TOEFL の Examinee Score Report を指す。
なお，スコア証明書は顔写真付きのものとし，記載の試験実施日が学科試験実施日(平成 27 年 8
月 20 日) より遡って 2 年以内のもののみを有効とする。
- Score certificate refer to a TOEIC Official Score Certificate and TOEFL Examinee Score Report,
which is issued and mailed to examinees by each testing agency. A head-shot photograph must
be attached to a score certificate. Only certificates for TOEIC or TOEFL conducted within two
years of the entrance examination for the graduate school (August 20, 2015) will be accepted.

・学科試験当日スコア証明書(オリジナル)を提示しない場合は， 英語の成績を 0 点とする。
- If an applicant cannot present the original score certificate on the day of the examination, the
score on the English test will be zero points.

下記３種類の方法から１種類選んで，入学検定料を支払うこと。支払いを済ませたら，(1)振
込領収書，(2)受付完了画面，(3)収納証明書（「入学検定料・選考料・取扱明細書」にある）のいずれか
を『入学検定料原符』の「九州大学」入学検定料振込金受付証明書貼付欄に貼付し，併せて同原
符に志望学府・住所・氏名・連絡先（TEL）を記入のうえ，出願書類として提出すること。
なお，平成 27 年 5 月 8 日（金）以降に入学検定料を支払い，必ず願書受付期間内に支払いの
証明が提出出来るように支払うこと。
また，払込み手数料等は全て志願者が負担することとなる。
The entrance examination fee shall be paid using one of the following three methods: Following the
payment, attach (1) the payment receipt, (2) a copy of the screen displaying the acceptance of payment, or
(3) a certificate of the payment (as explained in “Entrance Examination Fee/Screening Fee/Detailed
Statement”) to the field for a Certificate of Acceptance of the Screening Fee of “Kyushu University” of
the “Screening fee sheet”, state the name of the graduate school you are applying to, your address, name,
and telephone number, and submit it as an application document.
Payment period for the screening fee starts on May 8(Fri), 2015. Please ensure that the payment is
made so that you can submit the proof of payment (together with other application documents) within the

7. 出願資格の事前審査
7. Pre-qualification Screening
出願資格 (8)～(12) により出願する者は，事前に資格審査を行うので，出願書類の ⑴ ～ ⑷，
⑹，⑺，⑼ 及び ⑾ を平成 27 年 6 月 22 日（月）から 6 月 26 日（金）正午までに，九州大学工
学部等教務課教務係に提出すること。
なお，結果については，6 月 30 日（火）までに専攻主任から申請者あて通知する。
また，資格審査に合格した者の入学願書等はおって入学検定料原符の受領後，自動的に受理する。
Applicants wishing to be qualified by fulfilling one of Requirements (8) to (12) shall submit
Application Documents (1) to (4), (6), (7), (9), and (11) to the Student Affairs Section, Student
Affairs Division
of Kyushu University, Graduate School of Engineering, between June 22(Mon.)
and 12:00 of June 26(Fri.), 2015, for pre-qualification screening.

Applicants will be notified of the result by the chief of the department by June30 (Tue.).
Applications submitted by qualified applicants will be automatically accepted after the school
receives the screening fee sheet.

⑴ 出願者は，前記の出願書類を願書受付期間に，工学部等教務課教務係に提出又は郵送すること。

9. 試験の実施方法
9. Methods for the implementation of examinations
試験は，『一般試験』と『特別試験』の 2 通りを実施する。
情報知能工学専攻では，『一般試験』のみを，情報学専攻及び電気電子工学専攻では，『一般試
験』と『特別試験』に分けて実施する。
The “General Examination” and “Special Examination” are held.
Only the “General Examination” is conducted in the Department of Advanced Information
Technology, and both the “General Examination” and “Special Examination” are implemented in
the Departments of “Informatics” and “Electrical and Electronic Engineering”.
『一般試験』について（全専攻）
『一般試験』は，「学科試験」と「口頭試問」により実施する。
About the “General Examination” (for all departments)
The “General Examination” includes “written” and “oral” examinations.
『特別試験』について（情報学専攻及び電気電子工学専攻）
『特別試験』は，「学科試験」及び「口頭試問」に先立ち，「口述試験」を行い，それにより
希望する専攻での勉学に高い意欲と適性，ならびに充分な学力があると認められる者については
「学科試験」及び「口頭試問」を免除して合格とするものである。「口述試験」は第 1 志望につ
いてのみ実施する。
「口述試験」を受験できる者は，『特別試験』を希望した者の中から，最終出身大学等の成績
証明書等による書類審査により選抜される。この書類審査による選抜の結果は，全ての『特別試
験』受験希望者に受験票を送付（平成 27 年 6 月 5 日頃予定）する際に文書により通知する。「口
述試験」の対象にならなかった者は，口述試験を受験せずに「学科試験」及び「口頭試問」を受
験することとなる。
About the “Special Examination” (only for the Departments of “Informatics” and “Electrical and
Electronic Engineering”)
“Verbal Examination” is conducted as part of the “Special Examination”, prior to the “written” and
“oral” examinations. Applicants who have been determined as being sufficiently motivated,
eligible, and having the academic ability to learn in the specialty, based on the results of the
assessment, will be exempt from the “written” and “oral” examinations and accepted as successful
applicants. “Verbal Examination” is only conducted for first-choice applicants.
To be qualified to take the “Verbal Examination” test, examinees of the “Special Examination”

should undergo documentary screening by submitting the official transcript issued by the
educational institution as the highest level of schooling. As an examination admission slip will be
sent to each examinee of the “Special Examination” (around June 5, 2015), applicants for the
“Verbal Examination” test will be notified of the result of the documentary screening by mail at this
time. Those who have failed to qualify for the “Verbal Examination” test will take the “written” and
“oral” examinations.

用封筒（角2型）を同封して工学部等教務課教務係に申し込むこと。
(1) Persons who request application guidelines (including application forms) sent by mail should
write “Requesting the application guidelines for the Master’s Program of the Graduate School
of Information Science and Electrical Engineering” along with your address (postal code) and
name on an envelope, put a 205 yen-stamped envelope (240 x 332 mm) in it, and send it to the
Student Affairs Section, Student Affairs Division of Kyushu University Graduate School of
Engineering.
