Hackett Park Craft Fair Vendor Information – Canada Day 2015
March 30, 2015
Plans for the Sechelt Canada Day Parade and Hackett Park Craft Fair are well underway and we hope you’ll want
to be involved this year. The Canada Day celebrations will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. The theme of
this year’s celebrations is “Sechelt – Many People, One Community”.
New this year: The craft vendors (and the main music stage) are still located on the upper field of Hackett Park,
but the craft booth locations have been moved . Enclosed is a map of Hackett Park field with the craft booth
locations indicated. All craft booths are a minimum of 10 feet by 10 feet, and will have two open sides available.
Enclosed with this letter is an application form to register as a Crafter/Artisan/Display/Promotional booth at
Hackett Park. Please note the following timelines for the craft fair:
 Tuesday, June 30, 3:00 – 8:30 p.m. – Craft Fair setup. Access to the craft fair area will be via the gateway in
the fence near the baseball diamond on Medusa Street. There will be security on duty overnight to keep an
eye on things. Any product left on site is at your own risk.
 Wednesday, July 1 – Vendors MUST return to Hackett Park by 8:00 a.m. Free coffee and muffins courtesy
of the SDBA will be provided 8:00-8:30 a.m. for vendors only – coupons handed out on June 30. No
vehicles will be allowed into the Craft Fair area on July 1. Food vendors will have limited access into the
food vendor area via the access road above the tennis courts off Dolphin Street.

Parade.

The Dock on Cowrie Street.
Please complete the enclosed form and return to the SDBA office by Friday, May 29, to be eligible for the Early
Bird Discount. Please note that fees increase as we get closer to Canada Day.
Please let us know if you have any special requirements that we can try to accommodate.
Please note: All Hackett Park craft and food booths will be featured in pre-event print advertising provided we
have your paid application by Tuesday, June 9, 2015.
Enclosed is a map of part of Hackett Park with booth locations indicated. Please indicate on your application your
preferred locations. We will do our best to place you where you want to be, no guarantees. Note that booths
numbered 51 to 68 will only be used if all the booths numbered 48 and lower are fully reserved. A confirmation
will be sent to the e-mail address supplied by you on your application form as soon as your application is processed
by the SDBA, confirming your booth number and other details.
We are looking forward to celebrating Canada Day with you this year. Please call the SDBA office if we can be of
