ACCOMMODATIONS
The Gulfstar Sailcruiser is a ketch rigged, center cockpit motorsailer with twin engines. All the way aft is a lower
cockpit area, perfect for boarding from a dinghy, swimming from the platform, fishing, or just lounging. Proceeding
forward are fully unobstructed wide side decks with a walk-in cockpit entrance on the port side. The cockpit is
quite large, and fully weather protected with fiberglass hardtop, forward windshield and partial side windows, plus
roll-down vinyl side and aft curtains for bad weather. This design allows for all weather operation as well as
excellent working decks.
From the center cockpit, proceeding below leads into the salon. There is a dining table and large U shaped settee
forward to starboard, the galley is aft to starboard, the navigation desk is aft to port, and the entertainment cabinet
and a chair forward to port. The salon is very bright and airy with large windows forward and on both sides. The
interior of the boat is completely finished in beautiful teak paneling with teak and holly soles. There are many
overhead hatches throughout the boat giving wonderful natural ventilation, in addition to full reverse cycle air
conditioning and heating.
Proceeding aft from the salon through the galley to starboard, enter the master stateroom. There is a walk around
queen berth on center, numerous cabinets and drawers, two hanging lockers, and ensuite head with stall shower.
Additionally, there is an access door and hatch directly out to the aft cockpit.
From the salon, proceeding forward leads to the companionway. Here is the door and stairs down to the standup
engine room which also has a removeable overhead hatch to the salon for big jobs or equipment removal. The
laundry closet with washer/dryer is located in this companionway.
Continuing forward there is a guest stateroom to starboard with a large lower berth, and opposite to port is the
guest head with stall shower which is accessible from the hallway or from the forward guest stateroom. All the
way forward is the forward guest stateroom with a centerline queen berth.

BROKER'S COMMENTS
Islander is a high quality American built yacht with a beautiful teak interior.
This is a tremendous design with all of the advantages of a twin engine trawler, plus the freedom of a fully rigged
modern sailing yacht. Under power she will cruise comfortably at nearly 8 knots while sipping fuel. She is also a
very capable sailing yacht with Transatlantic experience. Her under-5 foot draft makes her a great Bahamas
cruising yacht.
There are two queen berths in a spacious 3 stateroom layout with a gourmet galley and luxurious salon allowing
for a most comfortable liveaboard.
Islander has fresh varnish and very recent (2014) bottom paint; there were no noticeable blisters observed at that
time. Her mechanical systems are very strong with new transmissions, engines and generator housings, and
rebuilt Northern Lights generator. Garmin electronics are current and up to date. Sails just reconditioned.
Electrical systems are strong with two inverters, Northern Lights generator in sound shield, solar panels, and lots
of recent batteries.
This is a rare opportunity to purchase one of the most versatile designs ever built at a great price. Owner has
purchased his next yacht and is receptive to offers.
