Day 1, Saturday
Relax and enjoy new friendships as
our travel route takes us to Scottsburg,
IN, for tonight’s lodging.
Day 2, Sunday
Early afternoon we get our first look
at the fantastic Opryland Hotel with
its magnificent cascades waterfall
area surrounded by more than 8,200
tropical plants. Each year this spectacular hotel creates a glittering holiday
extravaganza with the brilliance of
nearly
two
million
lights.
Accommodations at the Opryland
will be for two nights giving everyone
ample time to enjoy its beautiful surroundings.
Dinner is included tonight after this
afternoon’s highlight — Radio City
Christmas Spectacular starring the
world-famous Rockettes. This all-
live musical production combines
favorite selections from earlier years
with new material and a few surprises
each season. Over time, several classics have emerged including the
Parade of the Wooden Soldiers and
The Living Nativity performed every
year since 1933 — still popular,
breathtaking and awe-inspiring as

Day 3, Monday
A local guide boards our motor
coach
for
a
comprehensive
Nashville city tour giving us an idea
of what this “Country Music Capital”
has to offer. Highlights will include the
popular Music Row area and downtown Nashville, as our guide points out
the famous Ryman Auditorium,
Wildhorse Saloon, Country Music Hall
of Fame and Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge
where many country music stars got
their start plus much more. The rest of
the day is free to enjoy the many special holiday activities taking place at
the Opryland Hotel. Or, you may wish
to sit back and relax enjoying the
hotel’s festive holiday atmosphere.

ICE! Show featuring life-sized carvings and sculptures handcrafted by
over 40 artisans utilizing over 2 million

Day 4, Tuesday
We depart by mid-morning giving
you a couple of free hours to enjoy
more of the Opryland Hotel before we
leave. Shop the Treasures for the
Holidays Arts and Crafts Show that
is bigger and better than ever or
browse through the newly created Hall
of Trees with its beautifully decorated
holiday trees. Stroll through nine acres
of indoor gardens that are lavishly decorated with brilliant displays of holiday
ornaments and decorations.
Experience southern hospitality
during our Holiday Wassail Tour of
the exquisitely decorated nineteenthcentury Belmont Mansion. Adorned
with Victorian holiday finery, the
mansion itself is filled with original furnishings and period antiques telling a
century of Belmont’s history. We experience this incredible historic home
surrounded by the sights, sounds and
smells of Christmas as we enjoy the
spiced fragrance of the truly delightful
holiday wassail drink served with an
assortment of sweet treats. We then
start home with an overnight stay just
north of Louisville, KY, in Scottsburg,
IN.
Day 5, Wednesday
With holiday music in the air we
return to our home destinations by late
afternoon. B
