We Celebrated our 20th Anniversary!
On August 11th, SOS celebrated our 20th Anniversary by hosting an Open House at our
warehouse. It was a great party which included presenting thank you plaques to our top donors:
Manulife, the Ross and Doris Dixon Foundation and TD Canada Trust. We also had cupcakes
donated by The Scone Ladies, The Cake Tutor, Waterloo Cupcakes and Kelly Kasper-Bell
which made the event that much more delicious! Thank you to everyone who attended;
you made the event a big success!
‘Supper for Smiles’ Another Success
Thank you to Joe Paiva and his colleagues from Swiss Chalet and
Harveys. On September 11th, $1 from every quarter chicken dinner
and $0.50 from every burger sold was donated to SOS. They raised
a total of $2,075!
