It is wonderful to live in a prosperous and caring community that
recognizes and supports residents who need assistance due to
various circumstances arising in their lives. The Food Bank of
Waterloo Region’s vision of “channeling our community’s energy
so no one goes hungry” allows those able to contribute – to
contribute and those requiring help – to receive help.

in our community that will help The
Food Bank:

President’s Award to the
Ontario Trillium Foundation
The Ontario Trillium Foundation has
been incredibly generous to us and other
organizations in this community. We
have taken some risks at The Food Bank - and with the support of The
Ontario Trillium Foundation we have carved out new directions for the food
bank community making a significant impact on families experiencing
difficult times. Success of Trillium’s support initiated here locally and
applied throughout Sothwestern Ontario is now unrolling right across the
province. Whether we consider Trillium’s Regional support, provincial
support, one time or multi-year funding, the investments made continue to
impact our communities.
