Dog groomers will use slicker brushes to remove fur mats and tangles
from all coat types. Slicker brushes remove dead hairs - both undercoat
hairs and the coarser hairs from the outer portion of the dog's coat. Dog
groomers will use a slicker brush after using a pin brush and/or
undercoat rake to remove a significant portion of the dead undercoat.
Slicker brushes are often used as a finishing brush, as the fine wire
bristles distribute the natural oils throughout the dog's coat, creating a

Pin brushes are available in two basic varieties: with and without
rubber-tipped brush prongs. Pin brushes are a brush of preference for
dogs with medium length coats, wire coats, and wavy coats or curly
coats, including the Golden Retriever, Portuguese Water Dog, Airedale
Terriers and Schnauzers. While pin brushes (especially rubber-tipped
varieties) are also great on dogs with sensitive skin, they're not very
effective on dogs with short, sleek coats.
For dogs with a very short, smooth coat, like a Boxer, Amercan
Staffordshire Terrier, Miniature Pinscher, Chihuahua (short haired),
owners can usually get away with using only a slicker brush or bristle
brush for that daily or every-other-day dog brushing.
Pin brushes are great for removing dead hair that the dog will otherwise
shed onto the furniture, floor or his owner's clothing. Pin brushes are
also very effective at removing minor tangles found in many dogs with a
medium-length coat. Many groomers will also opt to use larger pin
brushes on a dog with wet fur, as bristle brushes, a fine-tooth comb or
slicker brush can cause fur breakage since hairs are more delicate and
prone to damage when wet.

HOW TO CHOSE THE RIGHT SIZE.
Please measure your dog's pads, front and back, including nails to determine the size that is right for them. Put the
dog's paw on a ruler and let the dog put it's weight on the ruler. If it is too hard to take the measurements on a ruler,
put the dog's paw on a paper and write marks on each sides, at the front and back of the paw, and measure the
distance between the marks. Do not forget to lift the opposite paw so the dog puts his weight on the paw you are
measuring. Sometimes, the back paws are smaller than the front paws.

Damaged goods:
Please inspect your package carefully upon receipt. Damaged deliveries should be refused and left with the carrier
because damages occurring during the transit are the responsibility of the company making the delivery. If the
condition of the package is questionable, ensure that the delivery person takes note of it before you sigh the receipt
voucher. If you do not do this, establishing claims could be made very difficult or even impossible. Please, notify us
immediately if you receive a damaged package.
Defective products:
Products must be inspected and tested upon receipt. If a product is found to be defective upon delivery or within the
return period, it can be returned to our offices for replacement or a refund. After the return period, the product
becomes the responsibility of the manufacturer according to the terms of the warranty. Keep your original bill as proof
of purchase.
How to Return Merchandise to K9Excel:
The return period is 30 days following shipping date. If you are unable to return the items within this timeframe,
contact K9Excel for an approved extension. Articles returned for a credit must not be open and must be in a suitable
state for resale, with all components intact. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the article is well and
securely packed so as to avoid damage during shipping. Postage and shipping costs for returns are the responsibility
of the customer. All delivery, shipping and handling charges (unless an error has occurred in the shipping of
your order) are non-refundable.
All product returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number prior to shipping back toK9Excel
store. Merchandise must be in original condition with all tags intact and must be able to be resold.( i.e. NOT WORN or
WASHED ).
Customer agrees that all returned products will be 100% complete, in re-saleable condition, and will include the
original packaging material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer. If
returned merchandise is found to be worn, credit nor exchange will not be issued and the customer will have to make
