President Paul Neuman, a visual artist (www.paulneumanartist.com) and fourthgeneration New York food business owner, co-founded the company in 1981 as
Neuman & Bogdonoff, a retail store on the Upper East Side. Now located on the Lower
East Side, Neuman’s Kitchen focuses exclusively on creating extraordinary corporate,
social and special events.

We recognize that every choice we make affects our future. From working with
local farms to using bio-diesel in our vehicles and composting our kitchen waste,
sustainability has always been a core value.

HAPPY VALLEY MEATS
Farms include: Rising Spring Meats, Wolfe Farm, Thistle Creek Farm, Bickle Farm, Valley Wide Farm, Modzel Family Farm,
Tanis Farm, Jubilee Hilltop Ranch, Espy Farm and Shook Farm. These small family farms are responsibly operated, providing
pasture-raised whole animals and breaking them down into specialized cuts, allowing for convenient resourcing for the Chefs at
Neuman’s Kitchen.
GREEN MARKET FARMS
Sorbello Farms, NJ
Started in the 1930’s, it has been run by the same family for 3 generations and is considered one of the best produce farms in New
Jersey. Sorbello Farms was one of the first farms to use drip irrigation.
Berried Treasure Farms - Cooks Falls, New York
Franca Tantillo, a former nurse and nutritionist and now first generation farmer, has been operating Berried Treasure Farms in
Cooks Falls, NY in the western Catskills for 25 years.
Marolda Farms - Vineland, NJ
First generation husband and wife farmers have been farming their own land every day for their entire 25 year marriage. Along
with their son, the family team is beginning to produce organic products to go along with their staples.
Reeves Farm - Baldwinsville, NY
Family run farm for over a century. The Reeves family focuses mainly on vegetables and berry and recently received organic
certification for their blueberries.
Dagele Brothers Produce - Florida, NY
As a family run farm that’s been in business for over a century, they utilizes black dirt that is known for being some of the best
soil in the country.
Satur Farms - Cutchogue, NY
Satur Farms grows specialty salads, leafy vegetables, heirloom tomatoes, root vegetables, and herbs. Using custom seed
blends of clover, legumes, and grasses, which binds nitrogen and prevents toxic runoff, they deter erosion from wind and rain,
and make beautiful ‘green manure’ that is tilled down to enrich the soil and its microbiological activity.

Neuman’s Kitchen
Artist, entrepreneur, visionary, foodie, lifelong New Yorker, dad
- just a few words that describe Paul Neuman, co-founder and
president of Neuman’s Kitchen. The company began in 1987 as
Neuman & Bogdonoff, an artisanal retail food purveyor on the
Upper East Side. In 1996 it relocated to Chrystie Street to focus
on catering. Taking full ownership in 2006, Paul re-branded the
company as Neuman’s Kitchen (2012) to reflect its evolution into
full-service events. Today, Neuman’s Kitchen is a landmark in the
New York City catering and special event scene.
Paul Neuman currently serves as the chair of the board of HOPE
Program, is a Past President of the NY Metro Chapter of The
International Special Events Society as well as The Executives
Association of New York City. He is a regular speaker at the
Coalition for the Homeless First Step Program, and mentors
high school students through the Exploring program. He was the
recipient of the 2011 Pencil Partnership Award for Outstanding
Partnership with Harry S Truman High School. In 2015, Paul was
granted a Distinguished Service Award by the Exploring Program.
