Showcasing our vast range of technical training courses and

four key points.
Who we are
Swiss AviationTraining (SAT) is a fully-owned subsidiary of Swiss International Air Lines Ltd. Decades of Swiss airline training expertise and
on-the-job experience guarantees effective training to standards of the
utmost quality.
SAT trains technicians and pilots, instructs cabin and ground personnel
and enables trainers and instructors to gain further qualifications. Our

providers and private aviation enthusiasts.
SAT Technical training is an EASA Part-147-compliant Maintenance

Why choose us?
We’re practical
At SAT your training will be geared as closely and consistently as possible to the real world of day-to-day aviation operations. Thanks to our
extensive ties with Swiss International Air Lines, we can also incorporate a vast amount of operational and maintenance data into our
courses.
We’re Swiss
Being based in Switzerland, all our technical training features a strong
emphasis on precision, perfection and reliability – all key features of
our home country’s character. Which is probably why Swiss technicians
train with us, too!
We’re experienced
All our instructors are highly-qualified licensed aircraft technicians, too.
Together they can draw on a mass of aviation industry experience that
they have accumulated all over the globe. Our instructors channel it all
into making the training as useful and practical as possible.

We’re all this and more
We offer training solutions (with excellent pre- and post-course customer care), quick and flexible planning and an environment conducive
to learning. We adapt and combine our students, and your company’s
expectations.
Sound knowledge, then extensive
practice: that’s how we’ll take you
swiftly to your goal.
How can we help?
Our specific services in brief:
For the Airbus A320 family (A318/319/320/321)
Save as many as five practical training days:
Besides the full range of courses from level A to B1, B2, B1/B2 and C,
along with run-up, borescope and practical training, we offer an innovative, more efficient and lower-cost option for training your technical
personnel, the virtual maintenance trainer (VMT). Usable anywhere
and at any time, and reducing the need to make the physical aircraft
available, the VMT brings sizeable flexibility to the corresponding training activities, while simultaneously lowering costs and shortening the
length of the training courses concerned. (See the separate factsheet
for further details.)
For the BAe 146 / Avro RJ
Benefit from full aircraft and shop access:
Our technical training for these aircraft types also extends from level A
to B1, B2, B1/B2, C, run-up, borescope and practical training. The
courses cover both the BAe 146 and the Avro RJ, the two engines used
on these aircraft and their two types of APU. Aircraft and shop access
are included; and our instructors can draw on decades of on-the-job
experience on these regional jets, from the manufacturer and heavy
maintenance to line experience. (See the separate factsheet for further
details.)
For the Bombardier CRJ
Many years of experience work to your advantage:
Our Bombardier CRJ technical training covers the CRJ 700, 900 and
1000. Here, too, our training is as practically oriented as it can possibly
be: SAT can draw on a vast range of operational and troubleshooting
experience with the type, thanks to its membership of and close ties
within the Lufthansa Group. (See the separate factsheet for further details.)
For the Embraer 170 and 190
Sharing our operational know-how and troubleshooting experience:
For these regional twinjets, too, SAT provides a full range of technical
training courses from level A to B1, B2, B1/B2 and C, along with run-up,
borescope and practical training. Our Embraer 170/190 instructors can
also draw on extensive operational, troubleshooting and worldwide
teaching experience. The training further includes aircraft access and
the use of multimedia-based training aids. (See the separate factsheet
for further details.)
For the Embraer ERJ 145
Optimize the use of trainee time through multimedia-based training:
SAT’s Embraer ERJ 145 instructors all have years of personal experience of working on the aircraft. And they combine this operational and
troubleshooting knowledge with comprehensive teaching expertise. For
this particular aircraft type, multimedia-based training is also used extensively as an invaluable training aid. (See the separate factsheet for
further details.)
