Children of all ages in our area lack many of the
basics of underwear, socks, "hoodies" and light
jackets. Jessieville, Fountain Lake, and Mountain
Pine schools, Ouachita Children’s Center, Safe
Haven, and Faith Fellowship Food Pantry will all
receive items from Christ of the Hills.
Please be mindful of this request when you’re out
and about shopping. Think of your own grandchildren
when you purchase new items of girls' panties and
boys' boxer shorts, to "hoodies," light jackets,
and socks, all sizes from girls and boys size 4 to
women’s and men’s size large for kids who suffer
hardships in this difficult economic time.
Please note: sweat pants and sweat shirts are not
on the shopping list at this time. Added items are
boys' boxer shorts, "hoodies," and light jackets
Meeting a practical need in our community
The Connection Committee is
Looking for a Captain Greeter and
Master List Updater!
Once every three months a Captain Greeter sends
out an e-mail list to members who are greeting on a
monthly basis and follows up each week during
that month with an e-mail reminder. The monthly
list is also posted in the Usher Room.
The Master List Updater
keeps a current master list of all
monthly greeters and substitutes
who will greet if called on. If you
send e-mails, you have the
computer skills that we need and
we will review these positions
with you.
Please call Dee Anderson,
Chair, at 501-922-2084.
