SHOUT OUTS!!! -to Caitlin Richter for delivering perhaps the greatest graduation roast in residency history. -To Joel Gabre for his awesome presentation of one of Dr. Finkelman’s papers to Dr. Finkelman at the Research Symposium! - To Matt Smith from several VA RNs as well as from the VA Director (!) for “his compassion, dignity, and respect” he showed a Veteran at the end of the Veteran’s life when Matt “sat by the patient’s bedside his entire 12 hour shift” so that the patient did not die alone. Incredible act of kindness! - To our outgoing chiefs Rachel Bensman, Steven Evans, Li’ Rowley, Elise Henning, Courtney Ohlinger, and Adam Rose for their fearless leadership over the past year.
