Our food will never embarrass you, like some might, and here’s why:
Famous Dave’s proudly follows the time-honored tradition of authentic,
real, pit-smoked barbecue, and doesn’t compromise on quality. To ensure
perfection, we:
• Use only the choicest spareribs, beef briskets and pork shoulders.
• Trim our ribs using meat cutters trained by Famous Dave himself.
• Season our ribs, chicken and brisket with our secret recipe rubs
created to bring out the unique flavors of each -- all made with the
finest spices from around the world.
• Smoke our BBQ meats at each restaurant up to 14 hours using real
hickory wood. That’s why our meats don’t taste boiled or roasted.
• Enhance the real pit-smoked taste of our BBQ with sauces created
by Dave. Our “Rich N Sassy” won “Best BBQ Sauce in America” at
the prestigious “American Royal BBQ Contest” in Kansas City.
• Prepare our flavorful side dishes with the same attention we give
our barbeque.
• Create our Famous Bread Pudding, Fresh Banana Pudding and Hot
Fudge Kahlúa Brownies from scratch daily.
• Deliver our fresh-made BBQ in temperature-controlled catering
