BUKOBA CATHOLIC DIOCESE AIDS CONTROL PROGRAMME – KAKAU P.O.Box 1236 Bukoba. 18/09/2015 Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I am writing to you expressing my deepest thanks for your recent donation to our program. Your support provides the financial and moral support needed to continue our mission. With your faithful financial contributions over the years, you’ve demonstrated your deep commitment to our work of providing education, feeding the hungry, initiating income generating activities at family level. Your support has repeatedly played a key role in our success As the number of orphans and vulnerable children grows, their communities become less and less capable of addressing all their basic needs, including their ability to go to school. Education gives children hope for life and work, and is a strong protector against HIV to which these children may be particularly susceptible. It is essential that high quality education is accessible to all, and that is why your support is so important as it gives us the ability to extend our services to more children. We have provided assistance to 71 primary school going orphans who have been provided with educational materials, some essential commodities and two households to initiate milk goats activities as indicated below. At the same time, the extra 1,350 EURO you availed to us has been used to support the two children of the late Deogratias Henry, who are pursuing a three years course in accountancy. For sure your assistance is of great value to these children and we really appreciate. We don’t have much to give back other than our humble prayers. Education support: We have provide education support to 71 primary school going orphans from five parishes as indicated below.
