Sometimes life becomes so fast and furious that we forget to sit back and enjoy the wonders of nature, to pay attention to every little detail that our Father puts into His creation. There is absolutely no better way to slow down with your children and share memories (while making new memories at the same time). Horseback riding (age & weight restrictions) Tubing Canoeing Miniature golf Archery Swimming Volleyball Field games Sunday devotionals Bonfires Hiking Music/talent show The Father & Child Retreat is an approved activity of Grace Polaris Church. Our goal is to provide a Christ-centered environment where a father and his children can spend time together building positive relationships and where fathers can learn more about godly fathering. Please register early! Return this completed form with payment (checks payable to Grace Polaris Church) or sign up at GracePolaris.org on or before June 22. The retreat cost is $40 per person if your payment is received or postmarked by this date ($45 afterwards). No registrations accepted if received/postmarked after July 6. No refunds after July 9. Join us July 24–26 at Mohican Wilderness for a weekend filled with camping delights and activities. This retreat is geared toward both fathers and their children (ages 4–14), and there’s something for everyone! Our location will be available to set up camp on Friday at 10:00 a.m. A retreat worker will check you in as you arrive. If you cannot arrive at that time to help set up, simply stop by the large white tents and check in. The campgrounds include hot showers and flush toilets. Families will bring their own tents.
