On November 19th, Ennis ISD hosted the Retired

The special event was an opportunity for Ennis
ISD to thank retired educators for their many years
of service dedicated to serving the district teaching
students, honoring them for their hard work and
commitment.
Thanksgiving is not only a time for turkey and
dressing, but a time to reflect on all the good in
your life. Sometimes, it’s not so bad to reflect upon
the bad times as well. Through the difficult moments in life, I have learned the biggest lessons.
Bad times also make the good times much sweeter.
I thank the good Lord for bringing me to Ennis,
and to all the wonderful people that have touched
my life. I have been blessed with such a hardworking, dedicated administrative staff. We are
very proud of our exemplary teaching staff and a
supportive and driven maintenance, grounds and
operations staff.
A special thanks to Sodexo and the food service
staff for their continued efforts to provide the best
nutritional foods for our students and employees. I
hope this Thanksgiving allows food, fun and most
of all, relaxing fellowship with family and friends.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM ENNIS ISD!
Travis Students Pay it Forward
The 1st grade students at Travis Elementary collected 9 boxes for Operation
Christmas Child. Students did chores at home to earn money so they could
buy gifts for children in need. Thank you to the moms and dads who donated and encouraged their children to consider others who are less fortunate.
