Your membership entitles you to the following benefits and services: PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Citrus Valley offers its members an array of benefits including, 12 free hours of DRE-approved video C.E. each year, free “live” topical C.E. seminars, 1-hour “Lunch and Learn” educational seminars bi-monthly, on-line continuing education, and much more. POLITICAL ADVOCACY: Our full time Government Affairs Director who, along with REALTOR® members, interacts and provides representation at the local, state, national levels and in over 20 cities served by the Association. Political Action Committees to support/oppose both candidates and issues impacting the real estate industry and private property rights. MULTIPLE LISTING SERVICE: Members have access to a web-based MLS system through iMRMLS, a regional MLS serving over 30,000 agents. Agents can access listings at www.imrmls.com. Free iMRMLS computer training classes are available on an ongoing basis. MARKETING: Our full time marketing director enhances public perception of the professionalism of REALTORS®, builds strong awareness and a sense of community by enhancing CVAR outreach to members in more meaningful ways by developing methods to gather, assess, and utilize information about CVAR membership to provide agents information on the myriad of benefits available. TECHNOLOGY: Our full time technical administrator teaches free hands on Microsoft training classes four times a week and is available five days a week to assist/solve members' computer questions and needs. GRIEVANCE AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS SERVICES: We know that you are dedicated to the highest business and ethical standards and upholding the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. CVAR takes the complaint process seriously to protect the integrity and reputation of the REALTOR® name. The Professional Standards committees have pledged to investigate and assess all complaints and enforce the Code to ensure all parties are treated fairly. An Ombudsmen program has been implemented using trained mediators from the Professional Standards Committee. This new service compliments both the Grievance and Professional Standards process and as an added benefit, raises the professionalism of the industry by interacting with members of the public when there is an ethics complaint. ONLINE SERVICES: Two of your greatest member assets are just an Internet connection away. Our association website at www.cvar.net is your virtual association. With links to all CVAR membership and MLS forms and more, our website means that we are now open around the clock. For your added convenience, a fully stocked real estate store is available for after hours ordering with one click of the mouse. Additionally, MLS invoices and annual dues may be reviewed and paid through CVAR's website. The Real Estate Store and on line invoicing are password protected for your security.
