Under the direction of Christy Stechman Zynda, these NFL cheerleaders captivate fans with their high-energy dance routines. When not on the playing field, they serve as goodwill ambassadors for the Jaguars and the NFL by participating in community, corporate and charitable events throughout Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. Members of THE ROAR have been featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and in Maxim, and they have been featured in hundreds of television, radio, print and online interviews. All of this is in addition to the hours of rehearsal preparing for game performances and the Jr. ROAR Cheerleader program and halftime show. THE ROAR has traveled nationally and internationally to entertain, model and represent the Jaguars and the NFL. They have performed at Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, Atlantis Paradise Island, Beaches Negril, Senior Bowl and at many events during Super Bowl week in several host cities. Additionally, one member of THE ROAR is selected to represent the Jaguars at the NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii each season. In 2012 and 2013, THE ROAR entertained at events in Mexico City and in London multiple times, and were photographed for their annual swimsuit calendar on location in Vieques Island, Puerto Rico and in the United Kingdom. These ladies also spend time entertaining the United States armed forces.
