Sarah explains that “the teachers are kind and they
really care about the students” at Lutheran High.
High School Music-Kuhlow
She loves to sing. She loves to dance. She loves
to watch and perform in musicals (check her out in
South Pacific this spring). What time is it? It’s
time to meet Lutheran High senior Sarah Kuhlow!
Sarah has been blessed by God with many
special gifts. Whether it be studying, dancing,
playing percussion in the band, singing in
chamber choir, or performing on stage, Sarah
puts her whole heart into whatever she does.
“My favorite memories of Lutheran High,” she
says, “are all the basketball and football games
that my friends and I cheered our hearts out for
our team, no matter the score or weather. Those
games are always a great time—just hanging out
with your best buds.”
whenever you need them.”
Sarah will be attending UW-Green Bay in the fall
and studying communications and art. “I know I’m
ready because the teachers have helped me so
much,” she says. “LHS has prepared me for four

Sarah is part of the Konzertchor and Chamber Choir
The teachers at Lutheran High are also
something Sarah truly appreciates. “God is in
every classroom and every heart at Lutheran
High,” she notes. “The teachers are there for you

years here for the world ahead…God is going to
remain in my heart as I go off to college.”
Sarah remains thankful for all that she has
learned at Lutheran High. “Lutheran High
definitely shows that we are faith-based, a school
focused on Christ. Everyone that walks in sees
the cross on our gym floor and the Bibles in the
hallways. They know what we are all about. We
really do Prepare Christian Leaders—One
Student at a Time. It’s completely true and
continues to draw people’s attention.”
Early Registration

pay an annual registration fee for the 2008 – 2009

Sarah’s Favorites:
Movies:
Across the Universe, Hairspray,
Chicago, and any other
musicals!
Actors:
Johnny Depp, Jim Sturgess
Teacher:
Mr. Otten (science) – “He teaches
so much and is so smart. His
classes are always very
interesting and we get so
much knowledge from him. He
also is great because he pulls
out his Bible and applies the
science material to Bible
verses. I think it’s really neat
when teachers show their faith
and beliefs.”

classmates. “The friends I have made here at
Lutheran High will stay with me the rest of my
life,” she insists. “We are brought together in
Christ’s love, and that’s irreplaceable...We are
in the Word of God, in prayer, and sing praises
to Him every single day. To me…that makes a
world of difference.”
As much as she enjoys her time at Lutheran
High (“I love Lutheran High!”), Eva also looks
forward to life beyond high school. “I hope to
go to college, go pre-med, and eventually end
up with a job I love,” she explains. “Of course, I
want to get married, have a family, and travel
the world, but I’m taking one thing at a time!”
Not such an easy thing to do for someone as
gifted as Eva Nimmer.
The Multi-Talented
Ms. Nimmer
She’s talented, hard-working, intelligent, charismatic,
disciplined, and has a great smile. Her friends call
her the Eva-nator. Oh, she also loves Mr. Kind’s
(Lutheran High’s chef extraordinaire) grilled cheese
sandwiches. Meet the multi-talented, one and only
Eva Nimmer!
If you have not seen Eva acting in Soul Train,
performing with the dance team, or singing in
musicals, you probably have not been around
Lutheran High much. In fact, Eva is looking forward
to playing the lead in Lutheran High’s upcoming
musical, South Pacific, this April. You will not want to
miss the performance!
Until the musical, Eva will continue to stay very busy
at Lutheran High. Besides being involved in
musicals, Soul Train, and dance, Eva also
participates in chamber choir, treble choir, fall drama
productions, and honors band. She is an extremely
hard working student too. “Lutheran High,” she says,
“has become my home away from home. The
teachers are excellent and I’ve made awesome
friends. I’ve made so many amazing memories, and
I can’t wait to experience more!”
Some of Eva’s favorite experiences and memories
revolve around Homecoming—the bonfire and
festivities in particular. She also cherishes her

Not only is Nick an excellent student, but he is also
very active in athletics and service to his school.
Besides participating and excelling in basketball,
soccer, and baseball, Nick is also a member of
National Honor Society and student council. As a
math tutor, Nick volunteers his time helping students
learn and succeed. When Lutheran High needs help
with fundraisers or volunteers to speak to churches
and youth groups, Nick is always on hand to help.
“Lutheran High has helped me grow as a Christian
leader,” says Nick, “because they have allowed me to
take on roles, practice, and learn. The best way to
prepare for something is to practice.”

Thanks Junior Crusaders
for being at our games
and supporting our teams!
One of the things Nick likes best about Lutheran High
is the Christ-centered atmosphere. “It’s more like a
family than a school,” he explains. He also
appreciates how Lutheran High teachers “relate
schoolwork to a student’s life.”
Nick came from a public grade school, and wants all
current grade school students to know that Lutheran
High is special. “It’s an exciting place and you get to
meet great students and teachers,” he says. “Plus,
you have so many opportunities to participate in
things here.”
Nick will continue to benefit from all that he has
experienced and learned at Lutheran High. And
he, in turn, will continue to be a blessing to so
many others.

Hillary plans to go on to Iowa State University to
study athletic training and coaching in order to
become a basketball coach (she’s a huge UConn
Huskie fan). Until then, she plans on enjoying her
senior year and cherishing her Christian friends.
She knows that “all the friendships I’ve made
were built on strong Christian values and,
because of that, will last long after Lutheran High.”

Hillary Care
Hillary Clinton has been in the news a lot. So let us
tell you about another Hillary—Lutheran High senior
Hillary Kreutz! Hillary’s care and concern for her
friends and teachers at Lutheran High is something
special. “I love watching my friends do well at things”
she says. “I thank God for them.” And that is also
one reason she likes Lutheran High so much:
“Lutheran High gives everyone an opportunity to
become involved.”
Hillary is quite active in school, too. From basketball,
volleyball, soccer, track, cross country, student
council, pep club, art scream, and National Honor
Society, to helping out in the school office, Hillary
does it all. “Lutheran High gives you this incredible
feeling of belonging,” she notes. “You realize you are
here for a purpose…It’s not just school, it’s a family
and every single teacher and student make it special
in some way.”
Of course, Hillary truly appreciates what makes
Lutheran High most special—the focus on Jesus
Christ. “Lutheran High has given me a very solid
Christian foundation,” she insists. “Everything I do,
I do with the Lord by my side. I also feel more
prepared to defend my faith if necessary.” She also
enjoys the contemporary chapels “where we just sing
songs, relax, and praise the Lord.”
