MOUND STREET CIRCLEVILLE, OH 43113 The staff of Trinity Lutheran Christian Preschool is comprised of dedicated, trained and experienced teachers in the field of Early Childhood Education. Teachers meet state requirements, are trained in CPR and First Aid and also attend workshops throughout the year to enrich their knowledge and skills in working with young children. PHILOSOPHY AND GOALS Trinity Lutheran Christian Preschool is committed to providing a program and environment that emphasizes the development of the whole child: mentally, socially, emotionally, academically, physically and spiritually; and to recognize the way a child learns and provide for individual differences among children as they grow. The goal of our program is to provide a Christian atmosphere in which a child can prepare for a successful school experience by becoming an enthusiastic learner. Trinity Lutheran Christian Preschool does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its admissions policies and other schooladministered programs. CURRICULUM EMPHASIS Our curriculum provides a hands on learning approach to education. Learning areas include: Creative Art Christian Theme Units Language Development Music Cooking Math and Science Learning Centers Dramatic Play Puzzles and Games Book Center Computer Time Gross Motor and Fine Motor Skills The curriculum is presented in an atmosphere of mutual respect to foster a positive self-concept. Emphasis on cooperation, listening, following directions, problem solving, and decision making are necessary in a child’s preparation for school and living in society. We offer a balance of social and academic experiences with the State of Ohio Early Learning Standards. SPECIAL FEATURES Children visit with the Director once a month for special Christian worship experiences. SERVICE PROJECTS Children learn the joy of caring about others through nursing home visits, collecting and donating food and gifts and other ways of showing God’s love. PARENT INVOLVEMENT We believe that communication between parents and staff is essential for maintaining the best program possible to meet your child’s needs. Throughout the year, parents have the opportunity to participate in parent conferences, attend parties and field trips and be a classroom volunteer. We provide a monthly newsletter as well as regular notices and calendars from the teachers. PLAYGROUND The indoor and outdoor play areas are designed for young children to exercise large motor skills, play cooperatively, and have fun! CLASSES AVAILABLE THREE YEAR OLD CLASS Children must be 3 years old by August 1, toilet trained and have all immunizations as required by state law. Classes available: Monday & Wednesday: 9:00AM - 11:30AM Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00AM - 11:30AM Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 12:30PM-3:00PM Tuition: 2 days/week: $115.00/month 3 days/week $140.00/month Registration Fee: $45.00 Supply Fee: 2 days/week $45.00 3 days/week $55.00 FOUR YEAR OLD CLASS Children must be 4 years old by August 1, toilet trained and have all immunizations as required by state law. Classes available: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 9:00AM 11:30AM Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 12:30PM - 3:00PM Monday option: Add Monday to either of the above classes for a 4 day/week program. Tuition: 3 days/week $140.00 per month 4 days/week $165.00 per month Registration Fee: $45.00 Supply Fee: 3 days/week $55.00 4 days/week $65.00 FIVE YEAR OLD CLASS Children must be 5 years old by October 1, toilet trained and have all immunizations as required by state law.
