CC 1966 IO N GT FOUNDAT The GTCC Sporting Clays Challenge was created in 2014 to provide scholarships, services, and opportunities to benefit veterans and our public safety educational programs. This year’s event will feature a morning shoot with a 14-station course and is open to 25 teams of four. Shooters will enjoy a great event, the chance to network and promote their business, and the opportunity to help raise money for these important GTCC programs. You may have heard of sporting clays referred to as “golf with a shotgun,” and that’s a fair comparison. Like golf courses, no two sporting clays courses are alike, and terrain and background have a lot to do with how targets are presented. Since no two courses are alike, shooters travel to different courses to experience variety. G TC 9:00 a.m. About the GTCC Sporting Clays Challenge Indira Manring, U.S. Army Veteran Aviation Management I am a first generation, proud, American-born veteran. I have always been fascinated by aviation, and now that I have the opportunity to get my degree, I want my passion to also be connected to my career choice. My job will be my playground. My career aspirations are to one day be an aviation manager at Piedmont Triad International. GTCC is an amazing school that treats everyone like family. The programs and activities have helped me adjust and make new friends and strong bonds. I have been given many opportunities to network and meet potential future employers and have been given the room to flourish. CS E 7:30 - 8:15 a.m. POR NG Event Schedule T I N G C L AY S C H A L LE
