briley cup prelim matarelli small gauge events
WELCOME SHOOTERS!
We look forward to welcoming you to the 2007
Texas Sporting Clays State Championship. It
is not only a pleasure but a honor to host
this exciting event. Our goal is to make this a
down home Texas homecoming for everyone to
enjoy the competition and the camaraderie. The
main battle will be held on the Bowie and Crockett
courses. Charlie Wilson with Texas Parks and Wildlife will
be on the Rio Ammo 5-Stand. Briley will be sponsoring the Briley Cup Prelim
and Matarelli is the proud sponsor of the 50 Target Small Gauge Event. Vicki
and Gil Ash will sponsor the OSP Cup on Sunday.
Our experienced staff will include Bruce Herring and his students from Southeastern Illinois College as well as National and International Certified referees
from San Antonio for the Legacy Ford FITASC Event. This championship event
is guaranteed to run smooth and be reported faster than a duck on a June
bug thanks to the work of Lois Lessing, Official Scorekeeper.
Over $50,000 in prizes and awards will be given away throughout the shoot.
The TSCA is sponsoring the trophies for all side events. Hinz Jewelry has designed a very special State Champion ring that will be awarded to HOA. We
would like to encourage everyone to join us for the awards ceremony and a
scrumptious BBQ dinner on Saturday evening. We will be giving away some
great prizes thanks to Mark Colaw from Seymour’s Garage, San Antonio.
We would also like to thank all of our other sponsors who make our events such
a success. Thank you Beretta, White Flyer, Houston 2-Way Radio, Browning,
Liberty Golf Carts, Houston Distributing, Logans Roadhouse, Di Puma Printing, Discount Awards, 12 Gauge Designs, Bass Pro Shops, Montana Custom
Gunstocks, Houston Hilton Westchase, Westside Drywall and last, but not
least, Texas Sporting Clays Association.
We wish everyone the best of luck and we promise to make this event something special for the record books.
