Student Chapter Annual Report Form
The purpose of this form is to report on Student Chapter activities over the previous year. The report provides a useful medium to document the status and progress of individual chapters. Annual Reports are used to evaluate applications for SEG support and to keep Student Chapter information up-to-date on the SEG website. Please provide a summary of Student Chapter
activities in a concise form as suggested below. Description of programs may be supported by a limited number of photographs
and figures in a format appropriate for publishing on our website.

Annual activities (2011-2012)
1. Every month we have regular meetings of our executive
committee: different discussions about future plans;
2. Field trips:
- Participation at the field-trip on the outcrops of Ukrainian
Shield (South Ukraine), - June, 2012;
- Participation at the field-trip in Crimea region, Ukraine
(at the base of students educational practical training) August, 2012.
3. Organization of conferences:
- Organization of local department student’s conferences:
a)“ 5th Students International Geological Conference”
(February, 2012);
b)“ Environmental management as an integral part of
sustainable development”(March, 2012)
- Organization common (Taras Shevchenko’s Kyiv National
University and Ivan Franko’s Lviv National University)
student’s conference: “The prospects of diamonds in
Ukraine”(April, 2012)
4. Participation at the Scientific Conference “Industrial
clay deposits: From the field to the industry” at Geological
department of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University –
April, 2012;
5. Fund-raising programs: we have not any fund-raising
programs.
6. Future plans:
- organization the Scientific Conference at Geological
department of Taras Shevchenko’s Kyiv National University
“Geo-metallurgy and Process mineralogy”;
- organization of field-trips to Carpathians in April 2013.
