Kids Club @ 6:30-7:30 pm - Children in grades 3rd through 5th are invited to participate Kid’s Club each month. Activities will include, crafts, cooking, reader’s theater, games, book
themed programs and more.
 October 18 - Reader’s Theater! No memorization, costumes, or special lighting is needed! We will perform two fun plays, “The Princess and the Frog” and “Farmyard Security.”
Registration is required.
 November 15 - Kids’s cook! Prepare and sample a simple holiday recipe. Registration is required.
 December 13 - DIY night! Make a gift for someone special or create something for yourself. Registration is required.
American Girl Doll Breakfast - October 1 @ 11:00-12 pm - Meet our new dolls Lea Clark and Samantha. Lea is the girl of the year! Join us for donuts and juice as we welcome our
American Girl Dolls to their new home at the library. Lea Clark and Samantha are ready for an adventure with you, and are available for a one-week adoption. Please feel free to bring
your favorite doll to join in the fun. We will play bingo and make a special craft. Registration is required.
Fall Storywalk - Saturday, October 15 @ 12-2:00 pm - Enjoy the outdoors and listen to fall themed stories. We will have games, crafts and decorate a mini-pumpkin. Refreshments will
be available. This program is sponsored in part by the Whitehall Community Lions Club. Registration is required.
Frightfully Fun Halloween Party! - Friday, October 28 @ 6:30-8:00 pm - Wear your costume and have a frightfully good time at this “family friendly,” Halloween party. We
will have Halloween stories, crafts, and games. After the party we will trick or treat through the library. Watch the premier of (WQED and PBS; inquire within) “The Cat In The Hat
Knows A Lot About Halloween!” Registration is required.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid Release Party - Wednesday, November 1 @ 6:00-7:30 pm - Join us for an evening of Wimpy Kid activities. Three lucky winners will have a chance to win a
copy of the latest book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Double Down We will play Manny’s Cereal Toss, the Fregley game, cheese touch, Rowly’s bean bag toss, and more. Enjoy pizza snacks,
prizes and giveaways. Registration is required.
Preschool Art Workshop - Friday Oct. 7, 14, and 21st @ 2:30 pm - Join us for an afternoon of art fun. Classes will include seasonal projects, exploring textures, painting,

Storytime with a Ballerina! - Monday, November 7 @ 7:00 pm - Join us for Ballet FUNdamentals with Pittsburgh Ballet Theater. This program is designed for children in Pre-K
through Grade 2, this program will give young children a chance to meet and talk with a dancer. An interactive presentation, Ballet FUNdamentals will involve a ballet-related story (The
Nutcracker) a hands-on opportunity with ballet and pointe shoes, and firsthand experience with the five basic positions of the feet and arms, all resulting in a lot of FUN! Registration is
required.
Family Movie Night - Finding Dory (PG) - Saturday, November 19 - Spend an evening at the library watching a movie. Enjoy popcorn, snacks and a drink, plus a fun craft activity.
Doors open at 6:30, movie will begin at 7:00. Blankets, pillows and PJ’s welcome. Registration is required.
Whoville Holiday Party! - Monday, December 5 @ 6:30 pm - Visit the Whos down in Whoville for a Grinch-tastic holiday celebration! We’ll have Grinchy games, crafts, snacks, and
a visit from Santa. Registration is required.
Build a Gingerbread House - Monday, December 12th @ 7:00 pm - Create your own Gingerbread house. Supplies will be provided. Registration is required.
Family Ornament Night - Monday, December 19 @ 7:00 pm - Make two ornaments, a family photo frame and salt dough ornament. Cookies and Hot Chocolate will be served.
Registration is required.
Homeschoolers @ your Library 1:30-2:30 pm
Visit our Homeschoolers group that meets once a month. Each session will focus on different homeschool enrichment activities. The programs run approximately 45 minutes to one hour
and are geared for ages 6 through 12. Younger children are welcome to attend and participate as they are able. We will also provide toys and a separate play space for little ones.

Teen Advisory Group (TAG) - We are recruiting teen volunteers!
Join the teen advisory board. TAG meets once per month to express ideas, organize upcoming library activities, and suggest new teen programs. They also help select library materials,
decorate the teen area, and complete other projects in the library. TAG members can meet new friends, enjoy pizza and earn community service hours! Registration is required for the
October 5th meeting. TAG meets the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm.
