Advertising Objectives
Advertising is based upon targeting the demographics from information based upon
past surveys and observations. All three mediums are used, but not in a balanced fashion.
Television is used in the major metropolitan areas around Bowling Green, Ohio. Targeted
areas include Toledo, Findlay, Lima and southeast Michigan.
Radio is used in a similar fashion but used to cover a broader area. It not only includes
Toledo, Findlay and Lima, but portions of eastern Indiana, Columbus, Ohio and portions
of Southeast Michigan.
Print is used to cover the broadest areas. The use of local weekly newspapers to larger
agricultural based papers covering different states. Bumper stickers are also mailed to all
on the mailing list for both driver and fan.
The last couple of years, the National Tractor Pulling Championships have taken to the
skies. We had a custom, 30’ X 55’ aerial banner produced and have flown it over approx.
25 different venues including Michigan International Speedway, Brickyard 400, Cleveland
Grand Prix and Country Concert to name a few.
Lastly, a website located at www.pulltown.com is maintained year round to include
updates about our organization, as well as other pulling events. A venue to allow questions
to be asked and placement on the mailing list is also included.

Our event is also part of the NTPA Pulling Series which will be viewed on RFD-TV in over
25 million households across the nation. Available on satellite and dish TV, Bowling Green
will have 6 separate shows on RFD-TV.
