Damion Gardner and Eibach Set New Sprint Car World Speed Record
Bonneville, Utah (September 9, 2014) – Damion Gardner saw nearly two years of
dreams and hard work come to fruition when he broke the 200 mph barrier not once,
but twice in a Sprint Car at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Not only can he be called the
“World’s Fastest Sprint Car Driver” but now the slender racer can also be called the
only driver to go 200 mph in a Sprint Car. Gardner rocketed to a speed of over 202
mph, but on his final approach he pushed the envelope with a speed of 205.47 mph.
Not one to set on his laurels, Gardner returned Tuesday morning and (on his first
run of the day) shattered his own record with a 211.59 mph top speed!

Super Late Model now holds a strong lead in the series standings with just one
event remaining on the docket.
Lee Pulliam overcame Mother Nature and a talented field of competitors to win not
one, but two 75-lap features at Motor Mile Speedway. Pulliam earned the pole for
the first feature via his qualifying effort, but the start of the race would be delayed
three hours by rain. When action finally commenced, Pulliam wired the field in the
first feature leading every lap on his way to the win. The second feature found
Pulliam starting sixth on the grid. He wasted little time racing his way through the
pack, and by lap 15 positioned his Eibach Springs #5 at the front.
