Attention Prairie View Parents:
The Prairie View Parents Organization is working hard to raise funds that your child will benefit from this
schoo l year and for years to come. The parent's organization raises funds that allow each class to take a field
trip each year without any costs being passed onto the school or you. We also raise funds to pay for treats at
Kindergarten graduation and Fourth grade graduation, speakers during the school year, training for your
children's teachers, supper for the teachers during conferences, school dances, yearbooks (if possible),
accelerated reader rewards, scholarships, and much more .
As a reminder, there are a couple fund raising opportunities that don't require you to do anything more than
you already do if you are a Schwan's customer or a Target Red Cardholder.
Schwan's Customers: In April of this year we enrolled in the Schwan's Cares Program. During the initial
sales timeframe we received 20% of all product orders placed and 40% off on gift cards ordered . However,
since May 1ih when that time ended we have continued to receive 5% of all orders received and will continue
to do so for another 181 days. To make sure we receive 5% of any order placed you can order by phone at 1855-870-7208 and give them the campaign Id # 7736 or you can go online to Schwans-Cares.com, click on Find
a Campaign (top of the page) and enter ID: Prairie View Panthers and then click "Support Now" and shop.
Even if you are already a Schwan' s customer, you will need to do one of these two things in order to get your
purchases to count. Your regular Schwan's man will deliver the order on your regular day and time . You only
have to call or go online one time and then you can resume ordering from your regular delivery man and every
purchase will count
Pra irie View Panthers: Prairie Vi ew Elementary School Hage r City, WI Campaign
ID 7736 (181 DAYS TO SHOP)
We have raised $560.00 through this program since April!
Take Charge of Education®
Target Red Card Holders (debit or Credit): Target's Take Charge of Education Program donates
funds directly to Prairie View School (not our organization) . These are funds the school can utilize for
classroom supplies, technology, etc. According to Target's webs ite they have donated $1245.56 to Prairie View
through August 2014. Target donates 1% of all Target Red Card Purchases to your school of choice and all you
have to do is go online to www.target.com and click on Redcard on the top of the page then select "learn
about Redcard" then scroll down and click on "Take Charge of Education -learn more". Once on that page
you can follow the prompts to sign up and then select "Prairie View Elementary School" as your designated
school. You may only designate one school.
Please be watching your children's backpacks for our Fall Fundraiser Packet that should
be coming home with students on October 13, 2014. Just remember, the funds we
raise are spent on your student so the more money we raise the more events and
activities we can provide for the students.
