Minutes Removed August’s Program Katy and Mike Lerchenmuller and their fabulous French Bulldog Flash gave a wonderful presentation, including some very informative handouts about the breed’s history and AKC standard. We also learned about the differences between the French and English Bulldog Page 5 VCDFA Newsletter October’s Program Shannon Coyner will be speaking about Agility and Dog Behavior Shannon is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Registered Veterinary Technician, Wellness Coach, and Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner A Note from the Editor I must apologize for not sending “The Tattle Tails is Almost Here” email to the UNTIL THEN, EVERYONE HAVE A general membership —I wish I could blame it on goblins, but at this moment I am franticly getting ready to go to our National Specialty in Sacramento. Congratulations to Beverly Halpin for organizing this wonderful event and Thank You to all club members and groups for participating AND to Tommy Dickey for taking all these wonderful photos. Left-right: Brutus, Bruno, Teddy, Nana, Elvis and Topper 6 Pyrs and 3 humans Hiking Yosemite —Half Dome is in background Teddy got his Rally Excellent Title at Grass Valley KC AND passed his CGCU exam with flying colors, Bobbie said he was the best of the dogs tested! This is his third AKC title of the summer! According to the Great Pyrenees Club of America bulletin, In 2014 only one Pyr got Rally Advanced Title and only one got Rally Excellent title! (Only 3 got CD titles - Teddy needs one more qualifying score.). Teddy is in elite company!
