XARXA TEATRE
The company Xarxa Theatre, which already visited the Festival in 2007
with Les rates mortes, comes back in 2014 with a new edition of Papers!
a show deepens in the reflection of a binomial which has given great
titles to the history of the theatre, the money and the power.
Papers! is a play without oral text which transmits the illusions, hopes,
failures and frustrations of a group of people who do not find an economic
solution to their problems. The show, released in the 26th International
Festival of Street Theatre of Villa-Real, has been created from a G-178, a
play in large format coproduced in 2009 with Générik Vapeur. The
company will close TEMUDAS FEST in 2014 and the Festival of Aurillac.
The company Xarxa Theatre, which was 30 years in 2013, supports one
more time in the tools of its theatre: tradition – popular Mediterranean
culture – festival theatre and a universal language which uses not only
pyrothenics but also new technologies.

Tango and fire rule the emotions which move around in Polar
between a man and a woman. Bilbobasso, a company created in
2006 by Hervé Perrin and Delphine Dartus – old members of La
Salamandre, group which last year took place in TEMUDAS FEST,
recreates a cabaret environment, evocative of police cinema and
silent pictures. Five actors, singers and musicians, unwind
themselves in a nightly, unique space, in which elapse the last 24
hours of a lady who has just been murdered.
Polar transmits passion through the dance, music and fire to know
the life of a tavern where every night vibrates the chords of a musical
group. Music is essential in the narration of Polar, sometimes as a
beginning point of a scene and always, as a link among the parts. Its
musical universe, though heterogeneous (ragtime, classic, Slavic
music, jazz…) is strongly impregnated by tango.

TEMUDAS FEST welcomes the premiere in Spain of the show Globe,
of the Dutch company close-act, a great allegory about the power of
the childish imagination and the freedom. The audience will
immerse in a dream in which business man without emotions move
like robots. All have been manipulated by an evil creature which
created a disciplined army and erased the freedom of the children
and their possibility of flying. Carlson the timeless child will help
them to recover the lost ground: no one will ever beat the imagination of a child.
A big spherical structure gives form to a stage in which perfect
technical and human machinery serves a show which joins music,
video projections, theatre and aerial dance. Close-Act, present in
international festivals with plays like Insects, White Wings, Aliens, or
Sails, is well recognised by its interactive street performance, which
makes among the audience or even over it: “let us impulse, draw and
take you to the world we create”.

_GÉNÉRIK VAPEUR
Warerlitz, the last show created by
the French company Générick
Vapeur, explores the worries of our
times and the effects of the
globalization. A spectacular figure,
Omni Ideal X, created with eight
containers, places the actors 19
meters over the floor. Like a watch,
dominates the city and the
landscape from its height warning
like a lighthouse in a storm and like
a spokesman for those without
voice, offering the resistance of the
spirit and the survival of men with
a humanist vision.
Générick Vapeur is a street
performance company founded
in 1983 by Caty Avram and Pierre
Berthelot. Before Waterlitz, the
company has succeeded with
more than ten shows which
have been performed in
nineteen countries in four
continents. In 2009, they produced
with Xarxa Theatre, the company
which opens the 18th TEMUDAS
FEST and the Festival of Aurillac,
the show G-178.

Waterlitz is a show created by the
