Get ready for an exciting adventure, discovering God’s presence, power, love, life and care. Crocodile Dock is buzzing with fun for kids, teenagers, and adults. Everyone involved in this VBS will explore God’s Word… and never be the same again! Not only do kids experience amazing Bible adventures, they’ll also watch for God in everyday life through something we call God Sightings. Kids discover that God is active in our lives and that his fingerprints are everywhere! Crocodile Dock is an exciting, fun-filled, Bible based program your kids will love. Kids start each day by forming small groups called Bayou Crews. All the Bayou Crews gather at Sing & Play Swamp Stomp to sing and do fun motions to upbeat Bible songs that introduce kids to the concepts they will be learning that day. Each day we will take a collection for our Mission Project. All of the money collected throughout the week will be used to help our Missionaries Ted and Kate Mole as they prepare for their ministry in Siberia. Bayou Crews rotate through five different Stations, where the daily Bible Point is reinforced in creative ways. They go on adventures at Bible Bayou, race around at Gator Games, learn what it is to be a missionary in Murky Missions, make crazy creations in Crawfish Crafts , meet Chadder Chipmunk on DVD, and sample tasty Snack Shack treats! At the end of the morning, everyone comes together for the Firefly Finale for more songs and a wrap-up to remember what they learned through throughout the day. See you at the Bayou, Your VBS Directors Gayle Santa Maria & Alice Segerstrom Please join us... Tuesday, August 4 Family Dinner @ 6:15PM in the Fellowship Hall (Gym) rsvp by 2PM Tuesday (302) 478-7374 Shining God’s light... At Bethel, we acknowledge God as the primary focus, reason, and source of all we do. Infused into every activity of the church is the Gospel - the Good News that Jesus Christ has been revealed as the glorious image of God, and through His death rescues hopeless sinners and restores them into a right relationship with their Creator! We affirm that it is only God’s grace, extended through the gifts of faith and repentance, that can make our dead hearts alive again. We affirm that salvation is only possible by believing what the Bible teaches about Jesus Christ and confessing Him as Lord and Savior. We affirm that this Good News has the power to change your child's heart! If you would like to know more about this Good News, or anything else about the church or what we believe and teach, please do not hesitate to talk to any of the station or crew leaders, or contact the office to make an appointment with one of our pastors or elders. We would love for you to be our guest at any of our regular services (see back) and especially at the dinner on Tuesday evening this week! She is also one of the leaders in our Awana program and the co-director for this year’s Vacation Bible School.
