Greetings!
We want to invite you to join us for
PTAC 16!
We are in Children’s Ministry…..and there is no greater calling!
So, here we are, gathered…. diverse…. committed…. and called.
We are very excited about partnering with area ministries to help them reach out to His
children! We are hoping that each of you, as you attend PTAC, will bring a food item for an
area food pantry. When you drop off your food items you will be able to enter into the
drawing for a Free 3 day PTAC 2014.
“We exist to reflect the whole heart of God to a world loved by God”
Be on the lookout for an email detailing the needs of the area food pantries and how you
can help!
Our goal of this year’s PTAC is to bless you.
All who have gathered here have committed to take a knee and to serve a child for our
King. Here, you will be presented the best training, by the best trainers. You will be surrounded by resources and provided an opportunity to connect with each one. You will be
immersed in a community of people, like you, who believe serving children is God’s highest
purpose for their life.
Take advantage of your time here. Make the most of it. Connect with one another. We
want to bless you.
It is our honor to serve you. Thank you for joining us at PTAC this year!

General Information
The Adventure Preschool & Windwood Christian Academy would like to take the opportunity to invite you
to the 16th Annual Preschool Teachers Adventure Conference to be held July 23, 24, and 25, 2013. We
have evolved from a small conference for MDO & Preschool teachers — into a conference that now serves
over 600 Early Childhood Professionals & Directors per day! We have nationally acclaimed speakers, along
with practical and imaginative workshops, where you will find opportunities to be trained, encouraged, and
motivated!
Our Speakers
Each day, we will take the opportunity to start the day together in our Worship Center while we enjoy various nationally recognized speakers and performers of interest to all.
We meet again for an afternoon speaker after the last workshop session.
Registration Deadlines
We are offering a 10% discount AND a FREE conference t-shirt
to those who get their registration forms and fees to us by
May 31, 2013. The final deadline for PTAC registration is July
5, 2013. Your registration forms and fees should be postmarked or hand delivered by no later than July 5, 2013.
Conference Workshops
Seating is limited, so we recommend that you register as
soon as possible. Should we reach capacity and are unable
to accommodate you, your registration fees will be refunded. The first 750 attendees to register will be seated in
the Sanctuary for the Keynote and Footnote Speakers. After 750 will be seated in satellite rooms for the Keynote and
Footnote Speakers. Your nametag will reflect which area
you will be seated.
We will have the conference/presenter handouts available
ONLINE for you to print out BEFORE you arrive. Workshop
notes/handouts will be put up on the website (www.ptacpreschoolteachersadventureconference.org) as they become
available.
Registration paperwork postmarked after July 5, 2013 will
incur a $25 late fee.
Each workshop is 50 minutes long and will have open seating
on a first-come, first-served basis. We have special workshop
tracks for those involved with Mother’s Day Out and/or Preschool, as well as special tracks available for Directors. Minimum Standard training numbers will be in the conference

In the past, we have experienced last minute cancellations
that are beyond our control. Last minute cancellations will
be posted outside the session rooms and highlighted in our
morning announcements. It is unavoidable that some of
your chosen sessions will be full, some of the workshops will
be repeated. We recommend that you have at least two alternates chosen in advance for each session time. In fairness
to all participants, saving more than one seat in a session will
not be allowed if that session begins to fill up. Please respect
“Session Full” signs, as sitting on the floor is a violation of
Fire Safety Codes.
Cost
We feel that for the quality of speakers and workshop leaders we are bringing to you, we are still very affordable. (1 day
= $100, 2 days = $180, 3 days = $230). Your fees include admission to speakers and workshops, continental breakfast and a
catered lunch each day.

All managers and leaders have to face “dragons” from time to time. These are challenges that breathe fire and threaten to destroy
our freedom and success. In most cases we find that if we “slay” these dragons, the fall out can be just as bad as the damage the
‘dragons’ themselves can do. We must learn methods of “taming” the dragons rather than completely slaying them. This session will
share stories and strategies to help implement a strong business approach while not compromising your personal goals and objectives. It will also help you identify your business challenges and understand concepts that will help you tame these dragons so that
you can continue to be successful.
