The parade kicked off an 11-day celebration of the movie’s 20th anniversary. Knightstown resident Jarrett Hagy (front, center), who spent countless organizing the 20th anniversary celebration enjoys a good turnout at an autograph session that followed Saturday’s parade. Hoosiers screenwriter Angelo Pizzo speaks at the gala dinner and auction Saturday night at the Hoosier Gym. Pizzo, a Bloomington native, said Hoosiers was his first screenplay. Queen candidate Mary Kissick tosses candy to parade goers Saturday afternoon. One of the longest parades in recent memories, it lasted about one hour.
