British Columbia’s ski resorts make it easy to bring the family, with affordable slope-side accommodation and a great choice of condos and chalets. It’s easy to find accommodations that come complete with family-friendly features like kitchens, multiple bedrooms, in-suite laundry and even hot tubs. Of course, just because there is a kitchen doesn’t mean you have to use it – pizza, burgers and sushi are usually a just a step, or a phone call, away. Kids like après too. From indoor rock climbing and movie nights, to marshmallow roasts, ice skating, playgrounds, tube parks and horse-drawn sleigh rides, British Columbia’s ski resorts keep the all-ages fun going until bedtime. Beginners’ terrain parks, Magic Carpets and top-notch instructors can have your little snowplowers happily carving turns in no time. And if your teens want to do their own thing, feel comfortable letting them roam free – almost all runs lead back to the village. Plus, childcare services mean that mom and dad can sample the resorts’ grown-up options. How about some fine dining, a cozy pub, or a romantic sleigh ride? 12
