HAZEMAG HFB –
low investment, high crushing ratio
The HAZEMAG Feeder Breaker HFB is a complete
horizontal roll crusher system which works according to the field-tested principle of crushing in the
horizontal conveying flow.
The feeder breaker mainly consists of two machine
components: the crushing roll and the chain conveyor. The arrangement of the crushing roll above
the chain conveyor permits to use the chain conveyor both as feeding and as discharging unit.
The design and the arrangement of the picks on
the crushing roll as well as of the scrapers in the
conveyor largely determine the achievable end product. By means of a variable crushing gap of the
height-adjustable crushing roll and the regulation
of the chain conveyor speed the granulation size
may be adapted to variable customer requirements
during the operation.

The compact design, which results from the horizontal material flow, the low material feeding
height as well as various options allow for an application in many fields above and underground, with
the following feed materials:
Potash and rock salt
Gypsum stone and Chalkstone
Coal
Slags
Petrol coke
etc.
Feeding the HAZEMAG Feeder Breaker HFB may
take place directly through wheel loader, excavator
or truck. Depending on the application single or
double drives are used on the crushing roll and the
chain conveyor. Power transmission may happen
either via gears or v-belt drive.

The HAZEMAG HFB series is a modularly designed system which performs versatile tasks in mining, stockyard and trans-shipment sites and in the bulk goods industry. By means of different configuration versions the plant may be modularly adapted to the respective requirements and wishes of the operators.
By integrating a HAZEMAG Roller Screen into the Chain Conveyor the operator has an option for considerably optimizing the volume flow towards the crushing roll. At the same plant type with integrated roller
screen the total throughput rate is substantially increased. An important advantage of the integrated
pre-screening is the reduction of fines in the product grain size. An important advantage of the integrated
