I
n our September issue, we have shared
a sneak peek of our efforts to protect the
environment. This time, we are grateful
and proud to announce that Pacific Place
has been granted Anugerah Pelangi 2015 by
Asosiasi Perusahaan Sahabat Anak Indonesia
or APSAI.
Anugerah Pelangi is an annual award
presented by APSAI to companies that
continuously show their concerns and
commitments to children. Pacific Place
is one of the eight companies to receive
the award on Tuesday, 3 November 2015.
Anugerah Pelangi 2015 was handed out by
Luhur Budijarso, The Chief of APSAI and
also witnessed by Yohana Susana Yembise,
The Minister of Women’s Empowerment and
Child Protection.

Anugerah Pelangi 2015 is the second one for
Pacific Place, with the previous one received
back in 2013. This award is the result of our
efforts to become a child friendly company
and shopping mall. Our main goal is to
provide the best facilities to help and keep
children safe in an open public space and
additionally to also giving back to the less
fortunate children in the community through
various CSR Programs. In this opportunity,
we would like to thank you - our most
loyal customers, for all the support and

YOU’VE GOT A MAIL!
L
et your imagination fly! A little while
ago in October, Colombia Embassy
in Indonesia and ASEAN United in
Diversity took us to travel and discover
the beauty where Colombian and South East
Asia flora and fauna collides in Official Mail
Exhibition by Diana Beltran Hererra. Colorful
birds and flowers from the South East Asia
countries were carefully hand crafted and
sculpted using paper in the form of mail
stamps, on display for the whole month at
Pacific Place main atrium, Ground Floor.
Diana Beltran Hererra was the creator of each
one of the breathtaking artwork pieces. The 28
years old artist is widely known for her paper
crafting skills where she usually transforms
everyday life’s object into an artwork with
intricate details.
Using #KolombiaIndah as the official hashtag,
everyone could share and explore the stamp
art. Through this exhibition, the diversity in
South East Asia nations’ culture was unified
in the same goal to grow and collaborate
together.

CELEBRATE THE

n eight year-old might be too young to take big steps in life, too
inexperienced to bring fresh and new ideas and to find out who they
really are. For Pacific Place, eight is the year we know where to set our
next steps to become the leading premium shopping mall.
Celebrating the 8th year of Pacific Place last month, we collaborated with the leading
lifestyle e-commerce, Bobobobo, to create an array of collectible anniversary cushions
for you! Adi Putra, Annisa Aprianinda, Hilarius Jasion, Nindita Kirana, Ruth Marbun, Ykha
Amelz, and Wai Santy are the names behind the eight illustrations on the cushions.
The artists interpret the meaning of eight from their perspectives. Ruth Marbun, for
instance, implies the number eight through the imperfection of texture and lines that
represent the process, the room of improvement, and individuality. Annisa Aprianinda,
a well-known graphic designer, believes that eight is often associated with balance, and
cycle of death-and-rebirth in some culture and beliefs. She translates them into the form
of lotus flower artwork.

at each artwork closer in the exhibition at Pacific Place, Ground Floor, on display until
