There are Many Steps Involved. Begin at least 6 months Ahead. Classes should be Confirmed Prior to the Start of the Planning Semester Identify Coordinators at the High School & the College Campus Both must be Reliable, Detail-Oriented & able to keep this a Top Priority Must be Connected with Administrators & must be able to Coordinate & Execute the different steps Have a Standardized Process with Concrete Steps & Deadlines Guides everyone thru all the Necessary Processes in a Timely Manner Offer a “Starter-Packet” to all New Partners Friday, November 15, 2013 Lessons Learned Have Ways to Track Students’ Progress in Completing Steps Needs to be Shared with ALL Involved Educate Schools on how to Best Engage with you AND how to best utilize your Campus as a Resource Course Selection, Fill Strategies, Overall Course-Offering Process Know your Campus’s Standards & Parameters prior to Entering into an Early College Partnership Fill Rates, Cost-Structures, Cancellation Policy, Course Withdrawal, Admissions & Registration Requirements, etc. Ensure Consistency with other Early College Programs Flexibility is Important, but so is Consistency Many Offices are Involved.
