Activities include: a presentation by President Kathryn Foster on the current “State of UMF,” campus tours, athletic events, cupcake wars with Aramark, as well as other fun events. Families, friends and alumni are encouraged to pre-register for the weekend’s events on or before September 29, 2014. All weekend events are included in the $10 registration fee ($5 fee for children 12 and under). UMF students are free with student ID. Please make checks payable to: “UMF Fall Fest” and mail, along with the registration form, to the following address: UMF Student Life, Attn: Fall Fest 2014 111 South St., Farmington, ME 04938 There will be free weekend access to the UMF Fitness and Recreation Center. Friday, October 3 Saturday, October 4 1:00 - 5:00 pm - Check-in & registration in Olsen Student Center hallway 1:00 pm - Men’s soccer vs Johnson State at Prescott Field (Dinner with students is on your own.) 1:30 pm - “A Political Scientist’s View of the Election Year Landscape in Maine” by Professor Jim Melcher 8:00 pm - Fandom Feud in The Landing, Olsen Student Center Saturday, October 4 8:00 am - Check-in & registration in Olsen Student Center hallway 9:00 am - Alumni Check-in at Ferro Alumni Center 9:00 am - Campus tours led by the Admission Office’s student ambassadors 9:00 am - Crafts and continental breakfast in Olsen Student Center 10:00 am - “State of UMF” given by President Kathryn Foster 11:00 am - Campus tours led by the Admission Office’s student ambassadors 11:00 am - Alumni Council meeting 11:00 - 1:00 pm - Brunch in Olsen Student Center 12:00 pm - Alumni luncheon and awards in Olsen Student Center 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. - Photo booth for families in Olsen Student Center 12:00 pm - Field hockey vs Colby Sawyer at Prescott Field 12:30 pm - Horse wagon rides around town sponsored by Meadow Creek Farms outside Olsen Student Center 2:00 pm - Cupcake wars with Aramark 3:00 pm - Relay races on Mantor Green 3:30 pm - Women’s soccer vs Johnson State at Prescott Field 4:30 - 6:00 pm - Dinner (please bring your ticket) in Olsen Student Center 8:00 - 9:30 pm - Student open mic night featuring Clefnotes, UMF’s acappella group in Roberts Learning Center Sunday, October 5 11:00 - 1:00 pm - Brunch (please bring your ticket) at Olsen Student Center 11:30 - 3:30 pm - Dollar movie matinee (see Narrow Gauge Cinema schedule for movie listings and exact times.)
